Iranian President Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī after returning from the Sultanate of Oman says that position of the two states is identical on many matters. The final statement elaborates the most important points of what was addressed during the visit.
In a joint statement, Tehran and Muscat confirmed on Tuesday at the closure of the Iranian President’s visit to the Sultanate of Oman that they agreed to open new gateways for the economic partnership between the two states.
It came in the final statement: “Sultan of Oman Haytam ibn Ṭāriq appreciates what Iranian President Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī and his government did by following a policy of constructive work together built on the principles of Iranian politics and being open to all states, especially to the neighboring states. This leads to positive relations based on mutual respect and good neighborly behavior for the mutual benefit of all but also contributes to the strengthening of regional security and stability.
The two sides underlined “the importance to confront terrorism and radicalism in all of its forms”.
The statement added: “The two sides decided to continue strengthening and opening new fields of economic partnership”.
The statement continued: “The two sides also discussed during the official negotiations of joint trade and investment discussions session various fields and cooperation in the matters that are serving the interests of the two states”. They both underlined “the positive and fruitful role the private sector plays in both countries and the increase of investments and in the trade exchange between themselves”.
According to the final statement, they both welcomed “the singing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding to bolster the cooperation in the fields of investments, sports, agricultural, fishing and livestock wealth, sea transportation, ports, the logistics sector and the oil and natural gas”.
They both confirmed “the importance of increasing the efforts and taking measures to secure the continued security and stability in the region and around the world, but also the cooperation and consultation between the two sides on various regional and global forums”.
On Tuesday the Iranian President and his counterpart the Sultan of Oman signed 8 memorandums of understanding and 4 cooperation projects during the one-day official visit to Oman.
Ra’īsī: The positions of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman agree on a number of matters.
After returning to Tehran the Iranian President confirmed in a press statement on Tuesday confirmed that the positions of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman “are clearly identical on many matters”. Thus pointing out that “the good relations between Iran and Oman strengthen the regional cooperation”.
Ra’īsī during the meeting with economic and trade representatives from the two countries confirmed: “to study the problems on the level of trade, property transport, and monetary, banking and customs matters in the presence of the Omani Minister of Industry and Trade”. Thus announcing that “soon the obstacles will be removed to support the way for trade and economic work”.
In the same context, Iranian Foreign Minister Ḥosseyn Amīr ‘Abdollahiyān said that “the Sultanate of Oman worked on to play a positive role in the regional calculations, away from the struggles, disputes, and quarrels”.
Amīr ‘Abdollahiyān confirmed that the relations between Iran and the Sultanate of Oman “go beyond the relations of neighbors”, pointing out that “Tehran gives importance to the policies of the Sultanate, which is built on balance to solve the problems”.

الرئيس الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي يقول بعد عودته من سلطنة عًمان إنّ مواقف البلدين متناسقة في الكثير من القضايا، والبيان الختامي يوضح أهم ما جرى تداوله خلال الزيارة
أكدت طهران ومسقط في بيان مشترك، اليوم الثلاثاء، في ختام زيارة الرئيس الإيراني إلى سلطنة عُمان، أنهما قررتا فتح أبواب جديدة للشراكة الاقتصادية بين البلدين.
وجاء في البيان الختامي: “سلطان عُمان هيثم بن طارق ثمّن ما يقوم به الرئيس الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي وحكومته من اتخاذ سـياسة التعامل البنّاء من منطلق ثوابت السياسة الإيرانية والانفتاح على جميع الدول، خصوصاً دول الجوار، الأمر الذي يؤدي إلى علاقات إيجابية تقوم على الاحترام المتبادل، وحسن الجوار لتنمية المصالح المشتركة، وتسهم في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي”.
وشدد الطرفان على “أهمية مكافحة الإرهاب والتطرف بجميع صـوره وأشكاله”.
وأضاف البيان: “قرر الطرفان مواصلة تعزيز وفتح مجالات جديدة من الشـراكة الاقتصادية”.
وتابع البيان أنّ “الجانبين ناقشا أيضاً خلال جلسة المباحثات الرسمية التعاون التجاري والاستثماري المشترك في مختلف المجالات والتنسيق في الشؤون التي تخدم مصلحة البلدين”، وشددا على “الدور الإيجابي والمثمر الذي يقوم به القطاع الخاص في البلدين، وزيادة حجم الاستثمارات والتبادل التجاري بينهما”.
ووفق بيان الختام، فقد رحّبا “بالتوقيع على عدد من اتفاقيات، ومذكرات التفاهم لتأطير التعاون في المجال الاستثماري والرياضي والثروة الزراعية والسمكية والحيوانية والنقل البحري والموانئ والقطاع اللوجستي والنفط والغاز”.
وأكدا “أهمية مضاعفة الجهود وبذل المساعي لضمان استمرار الأمن والاسـتقرار في المنطقة والعالم، والتنسيق والتشاور بين الجانبين في مختلف المحافل الإقليمية والدولية”.
ووقع الرئيس الإيراني مع نظيره سلطان عُمان، أمس الإثنين، على 8 مذكرات تفاهم و4 برامج تعاون، وذلك خلال زيارة رسمية ليوم واحد لعُمان.

وبعد عودته إلى طهران، أكد الرئيس الإيراني في تصريح صحافي، اليوم الثلاثاء، أنّ مواقف إيران وسلطنة عمان “متناسقة بصورة ملحوظة في الكثير من القضايا”، مشيراً إلى أنّ “العلاقات الطيبة بين إيران وعمان تعزز التعاون الإقليمي”.
وأكد رئيسي خلال الاجتماع مع الناشطين الاقتصاديين والتجار في البلدين “دراسة المشاكل في مجال التجارة ونقل المال والقضايا المالية والبنكية والجمركية، بحضور وزير الصناعة والتجارة العماني”، معلناً أنّه “ستتم قريباً إزالة العقبات لتمهيد الطريق للتجارة والعمل الاقتصادي”.
وفي السياق، قال وزير الخارجية الإيراني، حسين أمير عبد اللهيان، إنّ “سلطنة عُمان لطالما عملت على أداء دور إيجابي في المعادلات الإقليمية، بعيداً عن الاصطفافات والصراعات والاستقطابات”.
وأكد أمير عبد اللهيان أنّ العلاقات بين إيران وسلطنة عُمان “تفوق علاقات الجوار”، مشيراً إلى أنّ “طهران تولي اهتماماً بسياسة السلطنة التي تتسم بالتوازن لحل المشاكل
