Political Advisor to the Emirati President Anwār Qarqāš said that his country is will send a delegation to Iran to study the relations between the two countries.
Qarqāš said today in a press conference given by him today, on Tuesday cited by the Reuters agency that the Emirates will soon send a delegation to Iran in the context of efforts to improve the relations between the two sides. Thus pointing out that his country will inform the allies in the Persian Gulf region about the developments in the matters.
Qarqāš added answering a question about the time when the Emirati delegation will conduct its negotiations in Tehran: “The sooner the better!”
He continued: “There is a gratitude by the Iranian officials for rebuilding the bridges with the Persian Gulf and we deal with this with a positive view”.
The high ranking Emirati official added that “confrontation is the not best example now to go forward”.
Qarqāš pointed out that the dialogue and the economic cooperation are both parts of the efforts to build trust with Iran, thus confirming: “the matter will take time!”
He believed that even if the nuclear negotiations with Iran would gain positive results, those “will not solve all the fears about the Iranian policies”. This according to his words.

أعلن المستشار السياسي للرئيس الإماراتي، أنور قرقاش، أن بلاده سترسل وفدا إلى إيران لبحث العلاقات بين البلدين
وقال قرقاش، في تصريح صحفي أدلى به اليوم الثلاثاء ونقلته وكالة “رويترز”، إن الإمارات سترسل في وقت قريب وفدا إلى إيران في إطار الجهود لتحسين العلاقات بين الطرفين، مشيرا إلى أن بلاده ستطلع الحلفاء في منطقة الخليج “الفارسي” على مستجدات الأمور.
وأضاف قرقاش في معرض رده على سؤال عن الموعد الذي سيعقد فيه وفد إماراتي محادثات في طهران: “كلما كان ذلك أقرب كان أفضل”.
وتابع: “هناك تقدير من جانب الإيرانيين لإعادة بناء الجسور مع الخليج “الفارسي”. نحن نتعامل مع ذلك بمنظور إيجابي”.
وأضاف المسؤول الإماراتي الكبير أن “المواجهة ليست السبيل الأمثل للمضي قدما”.
وأشار قرقاش إلى أن الحوار والتعاون الاقتصادي جزء من إجراءات بناء الثقة مع إيران، مؤكدا أن “الأمر سيستغرق وقتا”.
واعتبر أنه حتى إذا توصلت المفاوضات حول الاتفاق النووي مع إيران إلى نتائج إيجابية فهي “لن تعالج كل المخاوف بشأن السياسات الإيرانية”، على حد تعبيره
