The Tunisian embassy on Rome announced that by the permission of the President of the Republic, and in accordance with his initiative connected to the sending of a Tunisian Mexican delegation to Italy to increase its efforts confronting the Corona epidemic, which he announced during his telephone conversation held with his Italian colleague Sergio Mattarella, on the morning of Saturday, 11 April 2020 a Tunisian military plane has arrived at Milan airport. Onboard the plane there was a military medical team, which will take over medical help in the region of Lombardy, which is considered the most inflicted region in Italy by the epidemic.
The delegation of the Tunisian medical team to Milan – the capital of Lombardy region – is accounted in the context of activating a vision, for which the President called upon, to rely on a wholesale approach combining a united effort internationally to combat the epidemic, marked by Tunisia in this exceptional circumstance standing by Italy, which is considered one of Tunisia’s main partners. This goes along the strengthening the relations of the neighborhood, friendship, and cooperation between the two countries, in addition to the answer to the call by the Italian side, specifically by the mayor of Lombardy region, by receiving support from the friendly states in the form of sending medical delegations.
The Tunisian medical delegation was welcomed by State Secretary in charge of foreign relations at the governorship of Lombardy province, Alan Rizzi, the Mayor of Milan, and a number of dignitaries in the province. Also by the representatives of the San Donato medical association, which is considered as one of the leading medical associations in Italy and in Europe, which has excellent relations of cooperation with Tunisia. All that happened with the participation of the ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia in Italy, and he Tunisian Consul General in Milan.
This initiative was met with the precise and gratitude of the governorship of Lombardy, which expressed its thanks to Tunisia and its President for the support. That shows the special Tunisian-Italian relations marked by the humanitarian ties between the two friendly nations. Officials of the province confirmed that the support has high importance in the current conditions, as there is need for medical and semi-medical help to reinforce the efforts taken by health associations and organizations in the province.

اعلنت سفارة تونس بروما انه بإذن من رئيس الجمهورية وتجسيما لمبادرته المتعلقة بإرسال وفد طبي تونسي إلى إيطاليا لمعاضدة جهودها في مجابهة وباء كورونا، والتي أعلن عنها خلال المكالمة الهاتفية التي جمعته مؤخرا بنظيره الايطاليSergio Mattarella، وصلت صباح اليوم السبت 11 أفريل 2020 طائرة عسكرية تونسية إلى مطار ميلانو وعلى متنها فريق طبي عسكري، سيتولى مساعدة الإطار الطبي بمقاطعة لمبارديا، التي تعتبر المقاطعة الأكثر تضررا من الوباء في إيطاليا
ويندرج إيفاد الفريق الطبي التونسي إلى ميلانو-عاصمة مقاطعة لمبارديا في إطار تفعيل الرؤية التي دعا من خلالها رئيس الجمهورية إلى اعتماد مقاربة شاملة تكفل توحيد الجهود على المستوى الدولي لمواجهة هذا الوباء، وحرص تونس، في هذا الظرف الاستثنائي الي الوقوف الى جانب إيطاليا التي تعتبر أحد شركائها الرئيسيين، تجسيدا لمتانة علاقات الجوار والصداقة والتعاون بين البلدين، إضافة إلى الاستجابة لطلب الجانب الايطالي، وبالتحديد رئاسة مقاطعة لمبارديا، الحصول على دعم الدول الصديقة من خلال إيفاد بعثات طبية
وقد تم استقبال الوفد الطبي التونسي من قبل كل من كاتب الدولة المكلف بالعلاقات الدولية لدى رئاسة مقاطعة لمباردياAlan Rizzi ووالي ميلانو وعدد من المسؤولين بالمقاطعة، إلى جانب ممثلين عن المجمع الطبيSan Donato الذي يعتبر أحد أبرز المؤسسات الاستشفائية في إيطاليا وأوروبا والذي يرتبط بعلاقات تعاون متميزة مع تونس، وذلك بحضور كل من سفير الجمهورية التونسية بإيطاليا والقنصل العام لتونس بميلانو
وقد حظيت هذه المبادرة بإشادة وتثمين رئاسة مقاطعة لمبارديا، التي أعربت عن شكرها لتونس ورئيسها على هذا الدعم، الذي يعكس خصوصية العلاقات التونسية الايطالية ويكرّس الروابط الانسانية بين البلدين الصديقين. كما أكد مسؤولو المقاطعة أن هذا الدعم يكتسي أهمية بالغة في الظرف الراهن، في ظل الحاجة إلى دعم الإطارات الطبية وشبه الطبية لتعزيز المجهودات التي تبذلها المؤسسات والهياكل الصحية في المقاطعة
