The correspondent of al-Mayadeen reports a targeted attack against the American base belonging to the American Coalition at the al-‘Umar oilfield. That led to huge fires breaking out within the base.
The correspondent of al-Mayadeen in. Syria reports that sounds of two explosions were heard on Thursday dawn in the vicinity of the base of the American Coalition at the al-‘Umar oilfield in the East of Dayr az-Zūr Province.
Out correspondent pointed out that the two explosions coincided with the cruising of the International Coalition’s airplanes in the skies of the area.
A source told al-Mayadeen that groups of the popular resistance targeted the base of the International Coalition at the al-‘Umar oilfield with a number of missiles, adding that the bombardment led to huge fires breaking out within the base, while there was no precise information on the losses.
The sources pointed out that reconnaissance planes and helicopters of the Coalition heavily cruised in the skies after the bombardment. Also, the artillery of the Coalition randomly fired around the Euphrates, but there were no reports of the losses.
The same sources pointed out that the attack against the Coalition base happened despite the Coalition launching air balloons for days for the sake of reconnaissance and to secure the base in rural Dayr az-Zūr.
Sources at the International Coalition reported to the Russian “Sputnik” news agency on Thursday a targeted attack against the American base at the al-‘Umar oilfield. Also points out that “there is no information until now whether there were human losses or damages by the attack”.

مراسل الميادين يفيد باستهداف القاعدة الأميركية التابعة للتحالف الأميركي في حقل العمر، ما أدى إلى اندلاع حريق ضخم داخل القاعدة
أفاد مراسل الميادين في سوريا بسماع دوي انفجارين، فجر اليوم الخميس، قرب قاعدة التحالف الأميركي في حقل العمر النفطي شرق محافظة دير الزور.
وأشار مراسلنا إلى أنّ دوي الانفجارين تزامن مع تحليق طائرات تابعة للتحالف الدولي في سماء المنطقة.
وقالت مصادر للميادين إنّ فصائل المقاومة الشعبية استهدفت قاعدة التحالف الأميركي في حقل العمر بعدد من الصواريخ، مضيفةً أنّ القصف أدّى إلى حريق ضخم داخل القاعدة، من دون معرفة حجم الخسائر بدقة.
وذكرت المصادر أنّ طيران الاستطلاع والمروحيات التابع للتحالف حلّق بكثافة في الأجواء بعد القصف، فيما استهدفت مدفعية التحالف بشكل عشوائي الأحراج المحيطة بنهر الفرات، من دون أنباء عن وجود خسائر.
ولفتت المصادر نفسها إلى أنّ استهداف قاعدة التحالف تمّ رغم إطلاق التحالف على مدار عدة أيام بالوناً حرارياً بغرض الاستطلاع، وتأمين قواعده في ريف دير الزور.
وأفاد مصدر في التحالف الدولي وكالة “سبوتنيك” الروسية، اليوم الخميس، باستهداف قاعدة التحالف الأميركي في حقل العمر النفطي، مشيراً إلى أنّ “المعلومات عما إذا كان الهجوم قد أوقع خسائر بشرية أو تسبب بأضرار غير متوفرة حتى الآن
