Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council ‘Alī Lārīğānī meets with Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān in a visit to Riyadh.

On Tuesday in Riyadh Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council ‘Alī Lārīğānī met with Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān, where the sides addressed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the developments of the regional situation in the presence of high ranking Saudi officials, including Defense Minister Hālid ibn Salmān.
The Iranian television had confirmed earlier on Tuesday that Lārīğānī headed to Riyadh to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān and Saudi Defense Minister Hālid ibn Salmān.
According to the Iranian Press Agency (IRNA), in this visit Lārīğānī was accompanied by his deputy ‘Alī Bāqerī Konī and Iranian Deputy Defense Minister Moḥammad ‘Alī Bek.
In this context insightful sources had reported to al-Mayadeen few days ago the intention of Lārīğānī to visit Saudi Arabia within a short time.
This visit comes few days after Lārīğānī on 13 September had called for in a post on X to form “a joint operations center” between the Islamic states to confront the Israeli “insane Entity” , posting out that this step alone is guaranteed to cause concern for the powers supporting it.
Last month the Secretary of the [Iranian] Supreme National Security Council took a regional journey including Lebanon and Iraq, where he signed a security understanding memorandum in Baghdad and met with high ranking Lebanese officials in Beirut.

التقى أمين المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي علي لاريجاني، في الرياض، اليوم. الثلاثاء، ولي العهد السعودي محمد بن سلمان، حيث استعرض الجانبان العلاقات الثنائية بين. البلدين، ومستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية،بحضور مسؤولين سعوديين. رفيعي المستوي بينهم وزير الدفاع خالد بن سلمان
وكان التلفزيون الإيراني قد أعلن، في وقت سابق اليوم، أنّ لاريجاني توجّه إلى الرياض، للقاء. ولي العهد محمد بن سلمان، ووزير الدفاع خالد بن سلمان السعوديَّين.
ويرافق لاريجاني في هذه الزيارة نائبه علي باقري كني، ومساعد. وزير الخارجية الإيراني محمد علي بك، وفقاً لوكالة الأنباء الإيرانية (إرنا).
في السياق، كانت مصادر مطّلعة قد أفادت. الميادين، قبل أيّام قليلة، بنية لاريجاني زيارة السعودية في غضون فترة قصيرة.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة بعدما دعا لاريجاني، في 13 أيلول/سبتمبر الحالي تحديداً، في منشور. على منصة “إكس”، إلى تشكيل “غرفة عمليات مشتركة” بين الدول الإسلامية، لمواجهة “جنون. الكيان” الإسرائيلي، مشيراً إلى أنّ هذه الخطوة وحدها كفيلة بإثارة قلق القوى الداعمة له.
وكان أمين المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي قد قام، الشهر الماضي، بجولة. إقلمية شملت لبنان والعراق، حيث وقّع مذكّرة تفاهم أمني في بغداد، والتقى بكبار المسؤولين اللبنانيين في بيروت
