The Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin via a phone conversation discussed the Ukrainian situation with Abū Zabī Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Zāyid Āl Nahyān, and the latter confirmed the right of Russia to secure its national security.
It cited in a statement by the Russian presidency that Putin and Āl Nahyān via a phone conversation studied “the important matters connected to the Russian-Emirati cooperation”. Also that they both highly valued the level of cooperation between the two countries on the political, economic, trade and other fields. They both pointed out “the importance of joint constructive work within the framework of the international organizations, most of all the U.N.”.
The statement added that Putin and Āl Nahyān confirmed their mutual desire to improve the strategic partnership relations between the two states.
The Kremlin mentioned that Putin studied with Āl Nahyān the course of what was agreed upon within the “OPEC+” group. Also that he explained to him in details “the reasons for the Russian operation in Ukraine and its goals”. The Crown Prince of Abū Zabī confirmed “the right of Russia to secure its national security”.

الكرملين: بن زايد أكد في مكالمة مع بوتين حق روسيا في ضمان أمنها الوطني

أعلن الكرملين إن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين بحث عبر الهاتف الوضع في أوكرانيا مع ولي عهد أبو ظبي محمد بن زايد آل نهيان وأكد الأخير حق روسيا في ضمان أمنها الوطني.
وجاء في بيان للرئاسة الروسية أن بوتين وآل نهيان بحثا خلال المكالمة “القضايا الهامة المتعلقة بالتعاون الروسي الإماراتي”، وأنهما قيما عاليا مستوى التعامل بين البلدين في المجالات السياسية والاقتصادية والتجارية وغيرها، مشيرين إلى “أهمية العمل المشترك البناء ضمن إطار المنظمات الدولية وفي المقام الأول الأمم المتحدة”.
وأضاف البيان أن بوتين وآل نهيان أكدا سعيهما المتبادل لتطوير علاقات الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين الدولتين.
وذكر الكرملين أن بوتين بحث مع آل نهيان تنفيذ ما جرى الاتفاق عليه ضمن إطار مجموعة “أوبك+”، كما أنه استعرض له وبشكل مفصل “أسباب العملية الروسية في أوكرانيا وأهدافها”، فيما أكد ولي عهد أبو ظبي “حق روسيا في ضمان أمنها الوطني”.
