The primary results on the Iraqi parliamentary elections keep pouring in and the broadcasts talk about the movement of as-Sayyid Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr winning the biggest number of seats.
The correspondent of al-Mayadeen in Iraq reported that the election process for the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement announced “by the report of the results winning 73 seats” in the legislative elections held yesterday.
Our correspondent also reported that “the primary results show the the massed Kurdish parties won 61 seats”.
On its behalf the Iraqi News Agency reported the names of the blocks gaining the biggest number of seats in the Parliament. This is according to the primary results, which were announced by the election commission in the special and general elections [combined].
According to the agency the blocks winning the biggest number of seats in the Parliament are the aṣ-Ṣadrī faction with 73 seats, followed by the “Taqaddum” [Progress] faction with 38 seats. The faction “Dawlat al-Qānūn” [State of Law” gained the third place by gaining 37 seats in the Parliament.
The “Reuters” agency also pointed out that the primary results and the government officials, in a addition to spokesman of the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement all talk about claim that the Movement of Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr came in at the first place in the Iraqi parliamentary elections and the number of its seats in the Parliament increased.
The agency added that “based on the primary results from numerous Iraqi provinces and the capital Baghdad verified by local government officials aṣ-Ṣadr won more than 70 seats in the Parliament from the altogether 329 seats”.
An official in the Electoral Commission in Iraq mentioned that aṣ-Ṣadr came in the first place, but the number of seats, which his faction achieved hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Iraqi Prime Minister Muṣṭafā al-Kāẓimī in a post on Twitter congratulated the winners of the parliamentary elections and the political forces, which will form the next House of Representatives.
As-Sayyid ‘Ammār al-Ḥakīm gave “the deepest appreciation and congratulation to the winning factions and political forces in the early legislative elections”, as they had to “stick together and work for the service of the people and the homeland”. He also hoped for all winning groups to “take the most possible efforts to delegate the representatives, which were meet the needs of the people and achieve their expectations”.
Earlier today President of the Commission Ğalīl ‘Adnān announced that “the preliminary results for 83 election districts have been announced in 18 Iraqi provinces”. He added that “no red level complaint has been issued for far”. He expressed that “in 3 days further results shall be finalized”.
Official spokesman of the Electoral Commission Ğamāna al-Ġilāy announced to al-Mayadeen that partial results of the parliamentary elections have been announced in ten provinces.
The spokesman of the commission confirmed that “what has been announced so far are the preliminary results and not the final ones”. Also that “the vote counting is ongoing and the results for all provinces shall be announced at 6 p.m.
The Independent Electoral Commission in Iraq announced that the preliminary participation ratio in the general elections reached up to 41%.
The commission added that the number of voters reached some 9,077 million, and revealed that the number of complaints in the general elections reached to 58 complaints, while on the special elections 16 complaints.

النتائج الأولية للانتخابات البرلمانية العراقية يتوالى صدورها، وأنباء تتحدث عن فوز تيار السيد مقتدى الصدر بالعدد الأكبر من المقاعد
أفاد مراسل الميادين في العراق بأنَّ الماكينة الانتخابية التابعة للتيار الصدري تعلن “تصدّرها النتائج بعد الفوز في 73 مقعداً”، في الانتخابات النيابية التي جرت أمس الأحد
وأضاف مراسلنا كذلك أنَّ “النتائج الأولية تشير إلى فوز الأحزب الكردية مجتمعةً بـ 61 مقعداً
من جهتها، نشرت وكالة الأنباء العراقية أسماء الكتل الحاصلة على أعلى عدد مقاعد في البرلمان، وذلك وفقاً للنتائج الأولية التي أعلنتها مفوضية الانتخابات خلال التصويتين الخاص والعام.
وبحسب الوكالة فإن الكتلة الحاصلة على أعلى عدد مقاعد في البرلمان هي الكتلة الصدرية بواقع 73 مقعداً، تليها كتلة “تقدم” بـ38 مقعداً. وجاءت كتلة “دولة القانون” في المرتبة الثالثة بحصولها على 37 مقعداً في البرلمان.
أشارت وكالة “رويترز” كذلك إلى أن نتائج أولية ومسؤولين حكوميين بالإضافة إلى متحدث باسم التيار الصدري تحدثوا عن أن تيار السيد مقتدى الصدر جاء في المرتبة الأولى في الانتخابات البرلمانية العراقية، وزاد من عدد مقاعد كتلته في البرلمان.
وأضافت الوكالة إلى أنه “بناءً على نتائج أولية من محافظات عراقية عدة إضافة إلى العاصمة بغداد، تحقق منها مسؤولون حكوميون محليون، فقد فاز الصدر بأكثر من 70 من مقاعد البرلمان البالغ عددها 329
وذكر مسؤول في مفوَّضية الانتخابات في العراق أن الصدر جاء في المركز الأول، لكن لم يتسنَّ له بعدُ تأكيدُ عدد المقاعد الذي فازت فيه كتلته
وهنَّأ رئيس الوزراء العراقي مصطفى الكاظمي، في تغريدةٍ له في “تويتر”، الفائزين في الانتخابات البرلمانية، والقوى السياسية التي ستشكل مجلس النواب المقبل
وتقدَّم السيد عمار الحكيم بـ”خالص التهاني والتبريك إلى الكتل والقوى الفائزة في الانتخابات التشريعية المبكّرة”، وحثّهم على “التكاتف والعمل على خدمة الشعب والوطن”، كما أمل من جميع الفائزين في “بذل قصارى جهودهم لسن القوانين التي تلامس احتياجات الشعب وتحقّق تطلعاته”
وفي وقت سابق من اليوم، أعلن رئيس مجلس المفوضين، جليل عدنان، أنه “تم إعلان نتائج أولية لـ83 دائرة انتخابية في 18 محافظة عراقية”، وأضاف أنه “لم تصنَّف أيُّ شكوى حمراء لغاية الآن”، مبيّناً أنه “سيتم تلقي الطعون خلال 3 أيام”.
وأعلنت الناطقة باسم مفوضية الانتخابات العراقية، جمانة الغلاي، للميادين صدورَ النتائج الجزئية للانتخابات البرلمانية في 10 محافظات.
وأكدت الناطقة باسم مفوضية الانتخابات أنَّ “ما يتم إعلانه هو نتائج أولية، وليست نهائية”، وأنَّ “عملية فرز الأصوات مستمرة، وسيتم إعلان نتائج كل المحافظات عند الـ6 مساءً”.
وأعلنت المفوضية المستقلة للانتخابات في العراق أنَّ نسبة المشاركة الأولية في الانتخابات العامة بلغت 41%.
وأضافت المفوضية أنَّ عدد المصوِّتين بلغ نحو 9 ملايين و77 ألف صوت، وكشفت أن عدد الشكاوى في التصويت العام بلغ 58 شكوىً، في مقابل 16 شكوى في التصويت الخاص.
