The two French French accused of planning to ignite protests in Iran state that they received money to cover the expenses of the protests and clashes aiming to remove the government.
On Thursday the Iranian “IRNA” news agency published a video that contained the confessions by a lady called Cecile Coller, who invited her partner Jacque Paris to Iran with the intention to “invoke clashes by organizing masked protests”.
According to the news agency the “two spies, Cecile Coller (37 years old) and her partner Jacque Paris (69 years old) admitted that they are “officers of the French Intelligence”.

Coller added that she received money for this and used the money to cover the expenses of the protests and the clashes.
Coller and Paris pointed out that they were in need of all tools, including weapons to execute the operations and to confront the police if the situation called for it, in order to remove the government.
Paris continued: “The General Directorate of the French Foreign Security aims to put pressure on the Iranian government”.
The video held sections about the two-person arriving at the Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran on 28 April on board a plane of Turkish Airlines and how they were detained when they were heading to the airport on 7 May.
On 11 May Iran announced that European have been detained “within the country with the aim of instigating chaos and shaking the stability of the society”.
On their behalf, the French authorities condemned the detention of these French people considering these accusations “without any basis”, and demanding “their immediate release”.
Previously the Iranian Ministry of Security announced the detention of more than 250 people following the protests that broke out after the death of Ms. Mahsā Amīnī, and 9 of them were foreigners.

نشرت وكالة “إرنا” الإيرانية، اليوم الخميس، فيديو يتضمن اعترافات لسيدة تدعى سيسيل كولر، قدمت وشريكها جاك باريس إلى إيران بهدف “إثارة اضطرابات من خلال تنظيم احتجاجات نقابية
وبحسب الوكالة، اعترف “الجاسوسان”، سيسيل كولر (37 عاماً) وشريكها جاك باريس (69 عاماً)، بأنّهما “ضابطي استخبارات فرنسيين
وأضافت كولر أنّها حصلت على أموال في مقابل ذلك، واستخدمت الأموال لتغطية تكاليف التظاهرات والإضرابات.
وأشار كولر وباريس إلى أنهما كانا بحاجة إلى جميع الأدوات، بما في ذلك الأسلحة، لتنفيذ العمليات ومواجهة الشرطة إذا تطلب الأمر، بغرض إطاحة الحكومة.
وتابع باريس: “المديرية العامة للأمن الخارجي الفرنسي تهدف إلى الضغط على الحكومة الإيرانية
وجاء في الفيديو لقطات لوصول الشخصين إلى مطار الإمام الخميني الدولي في طهران في 28 نيسان/أبريل الماضي، على متن طائرة تابعة للخطوط الجوية التركية، واعتقالهما عندما كانا في طريقهما إلى المطار في 7 أيار/مايو الماضي.

من جانبها، دانت السلطات الفرنسية اعتقال الفرنسيين، معتبرةً أنّ تلك الاتهامات “لا أساس لها”، مطالبةً بـ “الإفراج الفوري عنهما
وفي وقتٍ سابق، أعلنت وزارة المخابرات الإيرانية اعتقال أكثر من 250 شخصاً على خلفية الاحتجاجات التي تلت وفاة الشابة مهسا أميني، بينهم 9 أجانب
