The Iranian Revolutionary Guards stopped the “Talara” oil tanker that was moving under the flag of the Marshall Islands, after a judicial order was issued against it.

The Iranian Revolutionary Giards announced that the rapid units of its naval forces on Friday have blocked a “Talara” oil tanker in the Gulf waters that was under the flag of the Marshall Islands. This came after a judicial order was issued to block it.
The Public Relations Office of the Revolutionary Guards Naval Forces explained that the operations was carried out at 7:30 a.m. after the movement of the tanker was intercepted and blocked.
According to the statement the tanker was carrying 30 tones of petrochemicals and was heading to Singapore before being escorted to port in order to inspect the violations.
The naval forces confirmed that the full inspection of the cargo, its search and the verification of its documents absolutely proved that the tanker’s cargo was unauthorized.
The Revolutionary Guards underlined that this operation came within its legal duties and aims to protect the Iranian national interests and wealth.

أعلن حرس الثورة في إيران أنّ وحداته السريعة في. القوة البحرية أوقفت في مياه الخليج، أمس الجمعة، ناقلة النفط “Talara” التي ترفع علم جزر مارشال، وذلك بعد صدور أمر قضائي بتوقيف شحنتها.
وأوضحت العلاقات العامة للقوة البحرية في حرس الثورة أنّ العملية. نُفّذت عند الساعة 7:30 صباحاً بعد رصد تحركات الناقلة وتعقبها
وبحسب البيان، كانت الناقلة تحمل 30 ألف طن من المواد البتروكيماوية وتتجه. نحو سنغافورة، قبل أن تُنقل إلى المرسى من أجل التحقيق في المخالفات.
وأكّدت القوة البحرية أن الفحص الكامل للحمولة وتفتيشها والتحقق من. مستنداتها أثبتا بشكلٍ قاطع مخالفة الناقلة لحملها شحنة غير مرخّصة.
وشدّد حرس الثورة على أن هذه العملية تأتي في. إطار الواجبات القانونية، وتهدف إلى حماية المصالح والثروات الوطنية الإيرانية
