After the normalization of the relations between the two Occupation’s Prime Minister Naftali Bennet arrives to the Emirates to meet with Abū Zabī Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Zāyid and other Emirati officials.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennet arrived tonight, on Sunday to the Emirates in his first official visit for an Israeli Prime Minister since the diplomatic relations have been established between the two states and the normalization between the two sides on 15 September 2020, which was signed in Washington in the presence of the previous American President Donald Trump.
The official spokesman of the Israeli Prime Minister said to the France Press agency that Bennet “arrived to the Emirati capital Abū Zabī” on Sunday night.
According to what was published by the official site of Bennett’s office on Twitter, his visit will last only one day and it is scheduled that he will meet with Abū Zabī Crown Prince Prince Muḥammad ibn Zāyid Āl Nahyān tomorrow, on Monday.
According to the statement of Benet’s office during his meeting with to Abū Zabī he will concentrate on economic and regional matters, in addition to the discussion how to deepen the relations between the two.
The Israeli “KAN” channel has already pointed out that Ibn Zāyid invited the President of the Israeli Occupation Isaac Hertzog also to visit the Emirates. It also pointed out that “the crew of the Prime Minister was largely reduced because of the Corona pandemic and it is believed that only high ranking officials traveled with him”.
On its own behalf the Islamic Jihad Organization strongly condemned “the reception of the Zionist enemy government’s leader Naftali Bennet by the Emirati rulers” thus confirming that “the normalization and the alliance with the Zionist enemy is the tracery of Palestine”.
The Movement believed that “the reception of Bennet is strengthening the security of the criminal entity and is an attempt to legalize its unjust presence”.
After signing the normalization agreement the Emirates has reviewed with “Israel” opening embassies at each other and the Israeli media also talked about the approval by the Emirates to set up an embassy in “Tel Aviv”.
The Crown Prince of Abū Zabī invited Bennet on 18 October to visit the Emirates. At that time Emirati ambassador at Tell Aviv Muḥammad Āl Hāğa presented the invitation to Bennet in the name of the Crown Prince of Abū Zabī.
Later on Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid visited the Emirates and opened the Israeli embassy in Abū Zabī at the end of June, which is the first one in the Gulf states.
In this context the visit by Bennet to the Emirates comes in a time when the contacts between the Emirates and Iran intensify, as the “Jerusalem Post” imposed the question two days ago with the following title “Should “Israel” worry about the warming Emirati-Iranian relations?” That is after meeting between Emirati National Security Advisor Ṭaḥnūn ibn Zāyid Āl Nahyān and the Secretary of the Supreme Iranian National Security Council ‘Alī Šamhānī.

في أول زيارة له بعد التطبيع.. بينيت في أبو ظبي للقاء ولي العهد

بعد تطبيع العلاقات بينهما، رئيس حكومة الاحتلال نفتالي بينيت يصل إلى الإمارات للقاء وليّ عهد أبو ظبي محمد بن زايد، والمسؤولين الإماراتيين.
وصل رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي نفتالي بينيت مساء اليوم الأحد إلى الإمارات، في أول زيارة رسمية لرئيس وزراء إسرائيلي منذ إقامة علاقات دبلوماسية بين البلدين، والتطبيع بين الجانبين في الـ 15 من أيلول/سبتمبر 2020، والذي تمّ توقيعه في واشنطن، بحضور الرئيس الأميركي السابق دونالد ترامب.
وقالت متحدثة باسم رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي لوكالة فرانس برس إنّ بينيت “وصل إلى العاصمة الإماراتية أبو ظبي” مساء الأحد.
ووفق ما نشر في الحساب الرسمي لمكتب بينيت، في “تويتر”، فإنّ زيارته ستكون ليوم واحد فقط، ومن المقرر أن يجتمع مع ولي عهد أبو ظبي محمد بن زايد آل نهيّان، يوم غدٍ الإثنين.
وبحسب بيان لمكتب بينيت، فإنّ الأخير سيركز خلال زيارته لأبو ظبي على القضايا الاقتصادية والإقليمية، إضافة إلى مناقشة تعميق العلاقات بينهما.
وكانت قناة “كان” الإسرائيلية قد أشارت إلى أن ابن زايد دعا رئيس الاحتلال الإسرائيلي إسحاق هرتسوغ أيضاً لزيارة الإمارات. وأشارت إلى أنه “تمّ تقليص طاقم رئيس الوزراء بشكل كبير بسبب وباء كورونا، ومن المتوقع أن يسافر معه كبار الموظفين فقط”.
من جهتها، دانت حركة الجهاد الإسلامي بشدة “استقبال حكام الإمارات لرئيس حكومة العدو الصهيوني نفتالي بينت”، مؤكدةً أنّ “التطبيع والتحالف مع العدو الصهيوني هو خيانة لفلسطين”.
واعتبر الحركة أنّ “استقبال بينت هو تعزيز لأمن الكيان المجرم ومحاولة لشرعنة وجوده الباطل”.
وبعد توقيع اتفاق التطبيع، تبادلت الإمارات مع “إسرائيل” فتح السفارات بينهما. كذلك تحدث الإعلام الإسرائيلي عن مصادقة الإمارات على إقامة سفارة في “تل أبيب”.
وكان ولي عهد أبو ظبي قد دعا بينيت في الـ 18 من تشرين الأول/أكتوبر الماضي إلى زيارة الإمارات. ووقتها سلّم سفير الإمارات لدى تل أبيب محمد آل خاجة الدعوة إلى بينيت باسم ولي عهد أبو ظبي.
وزار في وقت لاحق وزير الخارجية الإسرائيلي يائير لابيد الإمارات، وافتتح في أبو ظبي سفارة إسرائيلية في نهاية شهر حزيران/يونيو الماضي، وهي الأولى في دول الخليج.
وفي السياق، تأتي زيارة بينيت للإمارات في الوقت الذي تتكثف فيه العلاقات بن الإمارات وإيران، حيث تساءلت صحيفة “جيروزاليم بوست“، قبل يومين، تحت عنوان هل ينبغي لـ”إسرائيل”أن تقلق من دفء العلاقات الإماراتية – الإيرانية؟”، وذلك بعد لقاء جمع بين مستشار الأمن القومي الإماراتي الشيخ طحنون بن زايد آل نهيان، وسكرتير المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي الإيراني علي شمخاني
