The Martyr General Qāsem Soleymānī, the commander, who was known not to sit behind a desk, moving between the fields and frontlines of combat, caused pain to the United States, “Israel”, Dā‘iš, and got assassinated.
The Martyr General Qāsem Soleymānī born in 1957, Commander of the Jerusalem Forces in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps.
In his twenties he founded the “41th Ta’r Allah [God’s revenge]” Brigade in 1980 during the Iraq-Iran war, than in the ‘90 of the last century took over the Revolutionary Guards in the Province of Kermān neighboring Afghanistan, before he became promoted as Commander of Jerusalem Forces in 1998 after Aḥmad Waḥīdī.
The commander, who was known not to sit behind the desk of an office, was accustomed to the military field work moving from one field to the other for 40 years, once seen in the Iraqi Ṣalāḥu d-Dīn during the retake of Tikrīt from Dā‘iš, one other time seen in al-Bū Kamāl, last stronghold of Dā‘iš in Syria. Once revealing that he was in the company of Ḥasan Naṣr Allah and Martyr ‘Imād Muġniyya in aḍ-Ḍāḥiyya al-Ğanūbiyya [a southern district of Beirut] during the July war [of 2006], while on other time meeting with the Palestinian leadership in Lebanon. Wherever Soleymānī went he planted victory.
His great achievements, especially during the last 10 years transformed the general rare in statements to be a major subject in the news, articles and documentaries, even deserving to be awarded by the Leader of the Iranian Revolution, as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī the “Dū l-Fiqār” Medal, and that was the first time this medal was awarded since the foundation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
While in one hand his military power grew, and so his huge popularity by the Iranian people and the nations of the resistance to the American dominance, especially after his major role in defeating the Dā‘iš organization in Iraq and Syria, and crossing the American plans which were drawn for the two countries, the United States put him on the terror list in April 2019.
“Israel” for its own part regarded him as the most dangerous personality and put him at the top of its own list for assassinations, next to Martyr Bahā’ Abū l-‘Aṭā, as-Sayyid Ḥasan Naṣr Allah, and indeed and Arab-Israeli plot for the assassination of Soleymānī was foiled in last October.
The Martyr Commander did not relinquish his quest for Jerusalem for a day as he announced a threat to Washington and its allies that disarming the resistance will not happen and in a number of instances he expressed his desire that God may take him as a resistance martyr. He received what he wished for when this Friday dawn the United States assassinated him.

في العشرينات من عمره، أسس لواء “41 ثأر الله” عام 1980 خلال الحرب العراقية الإيرانية، ثم تولى في تسعينات القرن الماضي قيادة الحرس الثوري في محافظة كرمان الحدودية مع أفغانستان، قبل أن يعيّن قائداً لفيلق القدس في 1998 خلفاً لأحمد وحيدي
القائد الذي لم يعرف الجلوس خلف طاولة مكتب، دأب على العمل العسكري الميداني، متنقلاً من جبهة إلى أخرى طوال 40 عاماً، تارة تراه في صلاح الدين العراقية خلال استعادة تكريت من داعش، وتارة تراه في البوكمال آخر معاقل داعش في سوريا، ومرة يكشف أنه كان برفقة السيد حسن نصر الله والشهيد عماد مغنية في الضاحية الجنوبية خلال حرب تموز، وأخرى يجتمع بالقيادات الفلسطينية في لبنان، حيثما مر سليماني، رسّخ الانتصار
انجازاته الكبيرة، خاصة خلال الأعوام الـ 10 الأخيرة، حوّلت الجنرال نادر التصريحات، إلى مادة رئيسية لنشرات الأخبار والمقالات والأفلام الوثائقية، حتى استحق أن يقلده مرشد الثورة الإيرانية، السيد علي خامنئي وسام “ذو الفقار”، وكانت المرة الأولى التي يُمنح بها هذا الوسام منذ قيام الجمهورية الاسلامية الإيرانية
ومع تزايد قوته العسكرية من ناحية، وشعبيته الكبيرة لدى الشعب الإيراني والشعوب المقاومة للنفوذ الأميركي، خاصة بعد دوره الرئيسي في القضاء على تنظيم داعش في العراق وسوريا، واسقاط الخطط الأميركية التي كانت معدة للبلدين، وضعته الولايات المتحدة على قائمة الإرهاب في نيسان/ أبريل 2019
“إسرائيل” من جهتها، اعتبرته الشخصية الأخطر، ووضعته على رأس قائمتها للاغتيالات، بالإضافة إلى الشهيد بهاء أبو العطا، والسيد حسن نصر الله، وفعلاً تم احباط مخطط عربي-عبري لاغتيال سليماني في تشرين الأول/اكتوبر الماضي
القائد الشهيد، لم تحد بوصلته عن القدس يوماً، ولطالما أعلن في تحدٍ لواشنطن وحلفائها، أن نزع سلاح المقاومة وهم لن يتحقق، وأعرب في أكثر من مناسبة عن أمنيته أن يتوفاه الله شهيداً مقاوماً، وكان له ما تمنى حين اغتالته الولايات المتحدة فجر اليوم الجمعة
