            A week ago another open wound in the Middle East, the Iraqi governmental crisis blew up again. Two weeks after supporters of two rival “A new Iraqi government: With aṣ-Ṣadr, or none without him.”

            This week we finally arrive at the end of our assessment about the Jeddah Summit leading Biden to Saudi Arabia and the Tehran Summit “Twin summits shaping a new era – Results.”

            Continuing with our topic from last week, this time we shall look at the Tehran Summit held in the Iranian capital on 19 July “Twin summits shaping a new era – Tehran.”

            Recently two major journey meetings happened in the Middle East, and it was hardly missable that they were responding to each other. The first “Twin summits shaping a new era.”

            It has been almost twelve years since the infamous “Arab Spring” started in Tunisia, eventually reshaping the whole region. In this chain of events, “Will it end where it all started?”

On 10 June Israel once again intensified its bombing campaign against Syria and not only bombed the vicinity of the Damascus, but this time disabled “Israel playing with fire in Syria?”

              It seems therefore quite contradicting why the Western press celebrated a Saudi turn. It can be argued that the real result is some “Has Riyadh finally turned on Moscow?”

                      For long, but really in the last decade or so, especially since the Trump administration undermined the nuclear deal and “Has Iran turned the tides around in the Gulf?”

                      It was officially announced on 13 May 2022 that the ruler of Abū Zabī and the President of the United “The new Lord of the Emirates.”

            It has recently caused a smaller sensation that American State Secretary Blinken planned to visit Saudi Arabia, but the “Lose some. Win some?”
