The HaStadarot confirms that half of the employees of the Eilat port are facing losing their jobs because of the suffered huge financial hits with while Sana’a goes on targeting the ships linked to “Israel” on the Red Sea.

The main worker’s union in “Israel” has confirmed on Wednesday that half of the workers at the Eilat port in the south of occupied Palestine are facing the danger of losing their jobs. This came after the port suffered massive financial hits, because the Yemeni Armed Forces continue to target the vessels linked to “Israel” on the Red Sea.

The “HaStadarot” worker’s Union, which is the organizing of hundreds of thousands of Israeli workers in the public sector said that the administration of the port announced that it decided to lay off half of its workers.

In the same context Canadian-Greek journalist and activist Dimitris Laskaris published a video footage on his YouTube channel from the port of Eilat showing the “scandalous damages” the Israeli trade has suffered in this port by the attacks of Yemen against the ships linked to the Occupation.

The Greek journalist added that the Yemeni attacks continued to cause dramatic affects in the installation that is used there, primarily to the import cargos from Asia and to the arrival of oil and its temporal storage, all because it has a huge storage capacity.

The journalist was walking around in the vicinity of the port that seemed empty, and also the area and the storages seemed locked down, with the total absence of activity by the workers or the settlers.

Laskaris confirmed that “the affect on the Israeli economy was dramatic, as the economy has shrunk with 20% in the first months of the war, and probably it has shrunk even more since then until this day.

أكّد اتحاد العمال الرئيس في “إسرائيل”، الأربعاء، أنّ نصف العمال في ميناء “إيلات”، جنوبي فلسطين. المحتلة، معرّضون لخطر فقدان وظائفهم، وذلك بعد أن تعرّض الميناء لضربة مالية كبيرة بسبب استمرار. القوات المسلّحة اليمنية في استهداف السفن. المرتبطة بـ”إسرائيل” في البحر الأحمر.

وقال اتحاد عمال “الهستدروت”، وهو المنظّمة الجامعة لمئات الآلاف من الإسرائيليين العاملين في القطاع. العام، إنّ إدارة الميناء أعلنت أنّها تعتزم فصل نصف الموظفين.

في السياق نفسه، نشر الصحافي والناشط السياسي اليوناني – الكندي، ديميتري. لاسكاريس، مقطع فيديو عبر قناته في” يوتيوب”، من مرفأ “إيلات”، يُظهر “الأضرار الفادحة” التي لحقت بالتجارة الإسرائيلية في. هذا الميناء، من جراء هجمات اليمن ضد السفن المرتبطة بالاحتلال

وأضاف الصحافي اليوناني أنّ الاستهدافات اليمنية استمرت في إحداث تأثيرات دراماتيكية. في المنشأة، التي تُستخدم، بصورة أساسية، لاستيراد المركبات من آسيا، ولإيصال النفط وتخزينه موقتاً، بسبب قدرتها الكبيرة على تخزينه.

وجال الصحافي في محيط المرفأ، الذي بدا خالياً، كما بدت المحالّ والمستودعات مغلقةً، وغابت تماماً أي حركة للعمال أو المستوطنين.

وأكّد لاسكاريس أنّ “التأثير في الاقتصاد الإسرائيلي كان دراماتيكياً، إذ تقلّص الاقتصاد. نحو 20%  في الأشهر الأولى من الحرب، وعلى الأغلب تقلّص بصورة أكبر منذ ذلك الحين إلى اليوم
