The General Security in as-Suwaydā’ Province started to activate its deployment on the ground after it involved 700 troops of the local factions amidst preparations to form a battalion under the Ministry of Defense.

According to what the local sources reported the General Security Service in as-Suwaydā’ Province in Southern Syria started to implement its ground operation with the deployment of its troops in the region with the aim of preserving the security and the stability.
The sources confirmed that the General Security agreed to involve 700 troops of the as-Suwaydā’ factions’ fighters to its ranks in a step that was agreed upon in an enlarged meeting with the representatives and the elders of the province. The troops of the local factions are preparing to be deployed under the umbrella of the General Security in the city of as-Suwaydā’ and at the entry points of the province.
The sources explained that more than 1500 names of the local fighters gave in requests to join the service, while 200 troops of them have been indeed accepted to be soon deployed within a limited sphere in the province under the oversight of one of the leaders of the local factions made up by the people of as-Suwaydā’.
On the other hand local sources reported that the forces of the Israeli Occupation opened fire towards local sheep herders around the town of al-Ḥurriyya in the northern part of al-Qunayṭra Province.
The estimated also pointed to the possibility to form a special military battalion for the province of as-Suwaydā’ under the Syrian Ministry of Defense including the fighters from the residents of the province.
For the last few days Syria has been witnessing sectarian clashes in as-Suwaydā’, Ašrafiyya and Ṣaḥnāyā that led to the killing of around 40 people in as-Suwaydā’ alone, in addition to those disappeared according to the local sources of al-Mayadeen.
As for Ṣaḥnāyā and Ašrafiyya the names of 15 people were recorded as killed, including 5 who were summarily executed.
The spiritual elders of the Druze faith in as-Suwaydā’ underlined that they are “inseparable part of the united Syrian nation”, rejecting any form of partition, division, or separatism.

بدأ جهاز الأمن العام في محافظة السويداء جنوب سوريا، تفعيل عمله ميدانياً، مع انتشار عناصره في. المنطقة، بهدف حفظ الأمن والاستقرار، وفق ما أفادت به مصادر محلية.
وأكّدت المصادر أنّ الأمن العام وافق على انضمام 700 عنصر من مقاتلي فصائل السويداء إلى. صفوفه، في خطوة تلت اجتماعاً موسعاً لوجهاء ومشايخ المحافظة. ويستعد عناصر من الفصائل. المحلية للانتشار تحت مظلة الأمن العام، في مدينة السويداء ومداخل المحافظة.
وأوضحت المصادر أنّ أكثر من 1500 اسم من المقاتلين المحليين تقدموا بطلبات للانضمام. إلى الجهاز، في حين يستعد 200 عنصر ممّن جرى قبولهم فعلياً للانتشار قريباً ضمن نقاط محددة في. المحافظة، بإشراف أحد قادة الفصائل المحلية من أبناء السويداء.
كما أشارت التقديرات إلى احتمالية تشكيل لواء عسكري خاص بمحافظة السويداء، يتبع لوزارة. الدفاع السورية، ويضم مقاتلين من أبناء المحافظة.
وفي سياق آخر، أفادت مصادر محلية بأنّ قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي. أطلقت النار باتجاه رعاة أغنام في محيط قرية الحرية بريف القنيطرة الشمالي.
وكانت سوريا قد شهدت منذ أيام اشتباكات طائفية في السويداء وصحنايا وأشرفية. صحنايا، أدت إلى مقتل نحو 40 شخصاً في السويداء وحدها، إضافةً إلى وجود مفقودين، بحسب مصادر محلية للميادين.
أما في صحنايا وأشرفية صحنايا، فقد تمّ. تسجيل أسماء 15 قتيلاً، بينهم 5 تمّ إعدامهم ميدانياً.
وشدّدت مشيخة عقل طائفة الموحّدين الدروز في السويداء على أنهم “جزء لا يتجزأ من. الوطن السوري الموحّد”، رافضةً أي شكل من أشكال التقسيم أو الانسلاخ أو الانفصال.
