Iranian Supreme Leader as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī confirms to Emir of Qatar Tamīm ibn Ḥamad Āl Tānī that the economic relations between Tehran and Doha have to be amplified and points out that “there is a solid foundation to exchanging views about the political matters”.
Iranian Supreme Leader as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī while welcoming Emir of Qatar Tamīm ibn Ḥamad Āl Tānī on Thursday said that the solution to the region’s matters has to come by dialogue, far from foreign intervention.
Supreme Leader Hāmeneī added: “the economic relations between Tehran and Doha have to be amplified, while there is a solid basis for the exchange of views about the political matters”, thus underlining that “the matters of Syria and Yemen can be solved by dialogue”.
He also confirmed that “some Arabs have to learn that the Zionist Entity today is not in a condition to be envied, or to be afraid of it”.
He also pointed out “the continuing crimes by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people” and said: “We expect from the Arab world to get down to the field of political work in a straightforward fashion and confront the Zionists’ crimes”.
Emir of Qatar Tamīm ibn Ḥamad Āl Tānī was accompanied by a high level political and economic delegation.
The visit by the Emir of Qatar to Tehran came to reciprocate the visit by the President of the Iranian Republic Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī 3 months ago to Doha, which was in the context of strengthening the relations between the two sides.
Emir of Qatar Tamīm ibn Ḥamad Āl Tānī arrived in Tehran on Thursday ahead of a high-level delegation on a formal visit to Iran. The official welcoming ceremony for him was led by the Iranian President at the Sa‘adābād Cultural Complex.

المرشد الإيراني السيد علي خامنئي يؤكد لأمير قطر تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أنّه ينبغي مضاعفة العلاقات الاقتصادية بين طهران والدوحة، ويشير إلى أنّ “هناك أرضية لتبادل وجهات النظر في القضايا السياسية
قال المرشد الإيراني، السيد علي خامنئي، خلال استقباله أمير قطر، تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، اليوم الخميس، إنّ حلّ قضايا المنطقة يكون عبر الحوار، وبعيداً عن التدخل الأجنبي.
وأضاف المرشد خامنئي: “يجب مضاعفة العلاقات الاقتصادية بين طهران والدوحة، فهناك أرضية لتبادل وجهات النظر في القضايا السياسية”، مشدداً على أنّ “قضايا سوريا واليمن يمكن حلّها عبر الحوار”.
وأكد أنّ “على بعض العرب أن يعلم بأنّ الكيان الصهيوني اليوم، ليس في ظروف تسمح بالطمع به، أو الخوف منه”.
وأشار إلى “استمرار جرائم الكيان الصهيوني ضد الشعب الفلسطيني”، وقال: “نتوقع من العالم العربي أن ينزل بصورة صريحة إلى ميدان العمل السياسي، لمواجهة الجرائم الصهيونية”.
ورافق أمير قطر تميم بن حمد آل ثاني وفد سياسي واقتصادي رفيع المستوى.
وتأتي زيارة أمير قطر لطهران استكمالاً لزيارة رئيس الجمهورية الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي قبل 3 أشهر للدوحة، في إطار تعزيز العلاقات بين الجانبين.
ووصل أمير قطر الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، اليوم، إلى طهران، على رأس وفد رفيع المستوى، في زيارة رسمية لإيران. وأقام الرئيس الإيراني مراسم استقبال رسمية له في مجمع سعد آباد الثقافي
