Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution and Islamic Republic as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī vows to respond to the crime of assassinating the President of the Ḥamās Movement’s Political Bureau Ismā‘īl Haniyya, confirming that the revenge for his blood “is a duty for Iran, since he got martyred on our land”.

Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution and Islamic Republic as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī confirmed that the criminal terrorist Israeli Entity “has signed a severe punishment upon itself” by its attack against the capital Tehran and its assassination against the Ḥamās Movement’s Political Bureau Martyr Ismā‘īl Haniyya.
As-Sayyyid Hāmeneī underlined that the vengeance for the blood of Haniyya “is a duty for Iran, since he got martyred on our land”, adding that the assassination of Haniyya, who was a guest of Tehran “is the entrance of a severe punishment the enemies brought upon themselves”.
As-Sayyid Hāmeneī continued confirming that the martyr “spent his life in the struggle and was ready for martyrdom, and gave his sons and relatives on this path”. Thus pointing out that “the from of the great resistance is in mourning”.
The official website of the Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution and Islamic Republic on the X platform published a video showing footages of the last meeting that brought together as-Sayyid Hāmeneī and martyr Haniyya in Tehran on Tuesday.
In the same context official spokesman of the Iranian Consultative Assembly’s National Security Council confirmed that the assassination of martyr Haniyya “was a coward act, and will undoubtedly will meet a response”.
On his behalf member of the Expediency Council in Iran Moḥsen Reẓā’ī underlined that the Occupation “must suffer a huge price” after it committed the assassination.
It should be remembered that the assassination took place during the visit Haniyya took to the Iranian capital Tehran to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President Mas‘ūd Pezeškiyān.
It also came after a meeting on Tuesday with the Leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic, and only hours after the Israeli attack targeting the Southern Suburb of Beirut.

أكد قائد الثورة والجمهورية الإسلامية في إيران، السيد علي خامنئي، أنّ كيان الاحتلال الإسرئيلي المجرم. الإرهابي “أعدّ لنفسه عقاباً قاسياً” عبر اعتدائه على العاصمة طهران، واغتياله رئيس المكتب السياسي لحركة حماس، الشهيد إسماعيل هنية.
وشدد السيد خامنئي على أنّ الثأر لدماء هنية “من واجب إيران، لأنّه استشهد على أرضنا”، مضيفاً أنّ اغتيال. هنية، الذي كان ضيفاً في طهران، “هو فاتحة لعقوبة شديدة جلبها الأعداء على أنفسهم”.
وتابع السيد خامنئي مؤكداً أنّ الشهيد “قضى عمره في النضال، وكان مستعداً للشهادة وقدّم أبناءه وذويه على. هذا الطريق“، مشيراً إلى أنّ “جبهة المقاومة العظيمة في حداد”.

وفي السياق نفسه، أكد المتحدث باسم لجنة الأمن القومي في مجلس الشورى الإيراني، أنّ اغتيال الشهيد هنية “عمل. جبان، وسيتلقى فاعلوه الرد من دون شك”.
بدوره، شدد عضو مجمع تشخيص مصلحة النظام في إيران، محسن رضائي، على أنّ الاحتلال “سيتكبّد ثمناً باهظاً” بعد تنفيذه الاغتيال.
يُذكر أنّ الاغتيال جاء خلال زيارة قام بها هنية إلى العاصمة الإيرانية طهران، للمشاركة في حفل تنصيب الرئيس. الإيراني الجديد، مسعود بزشكيان.
