Iranian Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī reports that the United States had targeted a water desalination plan on Qeshm Island, which has affected the water supply at more than 30 villages. He warns that this escalation “will has its huge consequences”.

Iranian Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī reported that the United States had targeted a water desalination plan on Qeshm Island, and thus committing “a pen outrageous and desperate crime”.

On his X account ‘Arāqčī added that this American aggression has led to “affecting the water supply at around 30 villages”, stating that targeting the civilian infrastructure in Iran “counts to be a dangerous escalation that will have huge implications”.

The Iranian Foreign Minister continued the United States “is the one that has chosen this dangerous method and not Iran”.

It should be remembered that Qeshm Island lies in the Persian Gulf water in Hormozegān Province in Southeastern Iran and counts to be the biggest island in the region and in the country. Thus according to the Iranian media.

Qeshm Island has excellent trade capabilities due to its area and closeness of the Strait of Hormuz.

أفاد وزير الخارجية الإيراني، عباس عراقتشي، بأنّ الولايات المتحدة استهدفت. محطة لتحلية المياه العذبة في جزيرة قشم، مرتكبةً بذلك “جريمة سافرة ويائسة”.

وأضاف عراقتشي، في منشور عبر منصة “إكس”، أنّ هذا العدوان الأميركي. أدّى إلى “تأثر إمدادات المياه في نحو 30 قرية”، مردفاً أنّ استهداف البنية التحتية المدنية في إيران “يُعدّ تصعيداً خطيراً ستكون له عواقب وخيمة

وتابع وزير الخارجية الإيراني أنّ الولايات المتحدة “هي من أرسى. هذا النهج الخطير، وليس إيران

يُذكر أنّ جزيرة قشم تقع في مياه الخليج، ضمن محافظة هرمزكان جنوبي. شرقي إيران، وتعد أكبر جزيرة في المنطقة والبلاد، وفق وسائل إعلام إيرانية.
