The Emir of Qatar receives an oral message from Iranian President Mas‘ūd Pezeškiyān delivered by Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī, also discussing the bilateral relations between the two states and the mutually important topics.

Emir of Qatar Tamīm ibn Ḥamad Āl Tānī on Thursday received an oral message from Iranian President Mas‘ūd Pezeškiyān delivered by Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī during a meeting held between them at the Lusayl Palace in Doha.
The message addressed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the mutually important topics, especially the developments in the region. During the meeting the ways to enhance the cooperation between Tehran and Doha were discussed, in addition to the regional and international developments with an emphasis on the need to stop the crimes of genocide that is being committed by the Israeli Occupation in occupied Palestine, to pursue those responsible for these and to combat its expansionist policies.
Following the meeting with the Emir of Qatar ‘Arāqčī held a meeting with a delegation of the leadership of the Islamic Resistance “Ḥamās” Movement led by Halīl al-Ḥayya in Doha, where the two sides discussed political and on the ground developments in Gaza in light of the Occupation continuing to commit crimes of murder and starvation against the Palestinians.

تلقّى أمير قطر تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، الخميس، رسالةً شفويةً من الرئيس الإيراني مسعود. بزشكيان، نقلها وزير الخارجية عباس عراقتشي خلال لقاء جمعهما في قصر لوسيل بالدوحة.
