The Associated Press news agency reveals that during their meeting on Sunday Netanyahu requested Muḥamamd ibn Zāyid to deny warning him shortly before 7 October.

On Monday the American Associated Press news agency revealed the events of the metering that brought together the head of the Israeli Occupation’s government Benjamin Netanyahu with President of the Emirates Muḥammad Ibn Zāyid.
The news agency stated that “during their meeting Netanyahu requested Muḥammad Ibn Zāyid to deny the report of Haaretz that mentioned that the Emirati leader issued a warning to Netanyahu about the imminent attack by Ḥamās shortly before 7 October”.
The Israeli Channel 12 had revealed before that Netanyahu on Monday met with Ibn Zāyid in the capital Abū Zabī.
According to the channel Netanyahu left on Sunday morning on board of the private plane heading to the Emirates, where he spent the whole day and met with Ibn Zāyid.
The channel cited two sources confirming that Netanyahu travelled to Abū Zabī and met with the President of the Emirates, pointing out that the visit came in light of what it described as “a warning storm for Netanyahu before 7 October”.
The Israeli Haaretz newspaper had published a report that Ibn Zāyid held a telephone conversation with Netanyahu in the last days of September 2023 that lasted for 45 minutes and in which he informed him that the former leader of Ḥamās Yaḥyā as-Sinwār was preparing for “an important event”, warning that there are indications about the repercussions of this in the region to the “Abraham Accords”.
According to the investigation of Haaretz relying on dozens of internal sources, record, documents and correspondence Ibn Zāyid proposed finding an economic solution for the Gaza Strip to calm the situation down in the West Bank, but Netanyahu took the warning with calm rejecting this choice, expressing that the indications point to that “Ḥamās is planning to carry out a move in the West Bank”.
The investigation pointed out that Ibn Zāyid shared details of this conversation with the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency William Burns being surprised by the restrained reaction of Netanyahu, while the advisor of the Emirati President expressed his hopes that Netanyahu would deal with the warning seriously before the operations takes place.

كشفت وكالة “أسوشييتد برس” الأميركية، اليوم الاثنين، عن مجريات اللقاء الذي جمع رئيس حكومة الاحتلال الإسرائيلية بنيامين نتنياهو برئيس الإمارات محمد بن زايد.
وقالت الوكالة إنّ “نتنياهو طلب من محمد بن زايد خلال لقائهما نفي تقرير ‘هآرتس’ الذي ذكر أن الزعيم الإماراتي وجّه تحذيراً إلى نتنياهو بشأن هجوم وشيك من قبل حماس قبيل 7 أكتوبر”.
وكانت “القناة 12” الإسرائيلية كشفت، في وقت سابق، أن نتنياهو التقى، الأحد، ابن زايد في العاصمة أبو ظبي
وبحسب القناة، غادر نتنياهو صباح الأحد على متن طائرة خاصة متوجهاً إلى الإمارات، حيث مكث طوال اليوم والتقى ابن زايد.
ونقلت القناة عن مصدرين تأكيدهما أن نتنياهو سافر إلى أبو ظبي والتقى رئيس الإمارات، مشيرةً إلى أن الزيارة تأتي في ظل ما وصفته بـ”عاصفة التحذير لنتنياهو قبل 7 أكتوبر”.
وكانت صحيفة “هآرتس” الإسرائيلية نشرت تقريراً كشف أن ابن زايد أجرى اتصالاً هاتفياً بنتنياهو في الأيام الأخيرة من أيلول/سبتمبر 2023 استمر 45 دقيقة، أبلغه فيه بأن قائد حركة حماس السابق يحيى السنوار يستعد لـ”حدث مهم”، محذراً من تداعيات ذلك على المنطقة و”اتفاقيات أبراهام”.
وبحسب تحقيق “هآرتس” المستند إلى عشرات المصادر ومسجلات ووثائق ومراسلات داخلية، اقترح ابن زايد إيجاد حل اقتصادي لقطاع غزة وتهدئة الأوضاع في الضفة الغربية، إلا أن نتنياهو تلقى التحذير بهدوء، مستبعداً الخيار ومعتبراً أن التقديرات تشير إلى أن “حماس تعتزم تنفيذ تحرك في الضفة الغربية”.
ولفت التحقيق إلى أن ابن زايد شارك تفاصيل هذه المكالمة مع رئيس وكالة الاستخبارات المركزية الأميركية وليام بيرنز، مستغرباً رد نتنياهو المتحفظ، فيما نقل مستشار للرئيس الإماراتي أمله في أن يتعاطى نتنياهو مع الرسالة بجدية قبل وقوع العملية
