A special Iranian source to al-Mayadeen reveals details about the assassination of martyr leader Ismā‘īl Haniyya and the designated Iranian authorities investigate the situation while confirming the strong link between the Islamic Republic and the Palestinian Resistance.

An Iranian source revealed to al-Mayadeen that the martyrdom of the President of the Ḥamās Movement’s Political Bureau Ismā‘īl Haniyya in Tehran “was done by a missile fired from a county to a county, and not from within Iran”.
On his behalf official spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Nāṣer Kan‘ānī confirmed the the designated Iranian authorities are still continuing to “conduct the necessary investigations to know the dimensions of this incident and its details”.
Kan‘ānī said: As it is undoubted that the blood of this warrior who spent his life in the holy war and honorable struggle against the usurping Zionist Entity spilled on the path of liberating Holy Jerusalem and liberating the Palestinian people will not go in vain”.
He added: “The martyrdom of Haniyya in Tehran will strengthen the deep and tangible relations between Iran, Palestine and the Resistance more and more”.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards had announced on Wednesday dawn the “martyrdom of Haniyya in a Zionist bombardment targeting the Iranian capital Tehran today dawn”.
Later on the Islamic Resistance Movement – Ḥamās – mourned announcing “to our great Palestinian people, to the Arabic and Islamic nation and to all the free men of the world the Martyr Commander Warrior Brother Ismā‘īl Haniyya, President of the Movement, fell after a heinous Zionist airstrike against his residence in Tehran, after he participated in the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian president”.

كشف مصدر إيراني للميادين أنّ استشهاد رئيس المكتب السياسي لحركة حماس إسماعيل هنية في طهران “تم. عبر صاروخ أطلق من بلد إلى بلد، وليس من داخل إيران”.
من جهته، أكّد المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية ناصر كنعاني مواصلة الجهات الإيرانية. المعنية “التحقيقات اللازمة لمعرفة أبعاد هذا الحادث وتفاصيله”.
وقال كنعاني: “مما لا شك فيه أن الدماء الطاهرة لهذا المجاهد الذي قضى عمره في الجهاد والنضال الشريف. ضد الكيان الصهيوني الغاصب، وفي الطريق إلى تحرير القدس الشريف وتحرير الشعب الفلسطيني، لن تذهب سدى”.
وأضاف: “استشهاد هنية في طهران سيعزز العلاقات العميقة والمتينة بين إيران وفلسطين والمقاومة أكثر وأكثر
وكان حرس الثورة الإيراني قد أعلن، فجر اليوم، “استشهاد هنية في قصف صهيوني استهدف العاصمة الإيرانية طهران فجر اليوم”.
