A number of Algerian personalities strive to form an Arab-African committee to break the blockade around Syria and send convoys of food and medical supplies by land, sea, and air to Syria.
A number of Algerian personalities lead by Colonel Lahḍar Bū Raq‘a and [freedom struggle] activist Ğamīla Bū Ḥaydar are contemplating to form an Algerian committee to break the blockade around Syria and arrange convoys delivering food and medical supplies to send them to Damascus by air, or air and made contacts with the sides involved in Algeria for this aim.
Bū Raq‘a on his own term also made contacts with famous Arab [freedom struggle] activists in Morocco, and in Western and African states neighboring Algeria to form an Arab-African committee to break the blockade around Syria and send convoys of food and medical supplies by land, sea, and air to Damascus.
A number of Algerian personalities (with the intent of a committee breaking the blockade) sent a message to hold an expanded Lebanese-Palestinian meeting, which would be held in the Syrian embassy in Lebanon to initiate a popular movement to promote Palestine and the matters of the Arab nation and cooperation with the Palestinian and Lebanese parties, forces, factions, and institutions.
The message under the title of “no to the starvation of the Syrian people” contained that after all conspiracies and attempt have failed to stop Syria from existing and break the will of the Syrians to stay alive the American administration tries to start a new phase with the aim to starve the Syrian people and stop the project to rebuild with unprecedented punitive measures against all entities of states, companies and all cooperating with Syria and participating in the rebuilding process.
They also said that “the era of enforcing foreign intentions upon Syria has passed”, confirming that “the Zionist supremacy, which is upheld by Arab regimes in a shameful process for decades now against the Arab peoples is the main set behind the Caesar Act”.
On his own term, the Algerian journalist and academic Rašīd Walad Bū Sayyāfa confirmed to al-Mayadeen “that this initiative is intended to make Syria win against the current Caesar Act”, saying “it is our duty, as Algerians to defend Syria in this period against the law, which wants to erase Syria”.
Bū Sayyāfa considered that the ongoing contacts to form humanitarian convoys as support the Syrians by helping them, confirming that they will continue to struggle politically more to confront the conspiracy which is made against Syria.

يعتزم عدد من الشخصيات الجزائرية يتقدمهم الرائد لخضر بورقعة، والمناضلة جميلة بوحيرد تشكيل لجنة جزائرية لكسر الحصار على سوريا، وتحضير قافلة تحتوي على مواد غذائية وطبية لإرسالها إلى دمشق جواً أو بحراً، فيما تجري اتصالات مع الجهات المعنية في الجزائر لهذا الغرض
بورقعة بدوره يجري اتصالات أيضاً مع مناضلين في المغرب العربي الكبير ودول غرب إفريقيا المجاورة للجزائر لتشكيل لجنة عربية – إفريقية لكسر الحصار على سوريا وإرسال قوافل غذائية وطبية برية وبحرية وجوية إلى دمشق
وقد وجه عدد من الشخصيات الجزائرية (نواة لجنة كسر الحصار) رسالة إلى اللقاء اللبناني – الفلسطيني الموسّع الذي سينعقد في السفارة السورية في لبنان، بمبادرة من الحملة الأهلية لنصرة فلسطين وقضايا الأمّة وبالتنسيق مع الأحزاب والقوى والفصائل والهيئات اللبنانية والفلسطينية
وجاء في الرسالة التي تحمل عنوان “لا لتجويع الشعب السوري”، أنه بعد أن فشلت كل المؤامرات والمحاولات لإزالة سوريا من الوجود، وكسر إرادة السوريين في البقاء، تحاول الإدارة الأميركية الانتقال إلى مرحلة جديدة تهدف إلى تجويع الشعب السوري ووقف عملية إعادة الإعمار بإجراءات عقابية غير مسبوقة لكل الكيانات من دول وشركات تتعامل مع سوريا وتشارك في جهود إعادة الإعمار
كما، قالوا إن “عهد فرض الإرادات الأجنبية في سوريا قد ولى”، مؤكدين أن “الهيمنة الصهيونية التي تعززها أنظمة عربية عميلة جاثمة منذ عقود على صدور الشعوب العربية، هي الخلفية الأساسية وراء قانون قيصر
من جهته، أكد الإعلامي والأكاديمي الجزائري رشيد ولد بو سيافه للميادين، “أن هذه المبادرة أطلقت لنصرة سوريا في وجه قانون قيصر الجائر”، قائلاً “من واجبنا نحن الجزائريين أن ندافع عن سوريا في هذه المرحلة في وحه القانون الذي يريد محو سوريا
واعتبر بو سيافه أن الاتصالات جارية من أجل تنظيم قوافل إنسانية لامداد السوريين بالمساعدات، مؤكداً أنهم سيواصلون التحرك سياسياً على أكثر من صعيد لمواجهة المؤامرة التي تحاك ضد سوريا
