Iraqi Prime Minister Muṣṭafā al-Kāẓimī reveals the success of the Iraqi Intelligence Service by apprehending the deputy of Abū Bakr al-Baġdādī, Sāmī Ğāsim.
Iraqi Prime Minister Muṣṭafā al-Kāẓimī announced today, on Monday the apprehension of financial director of the “Dā‘iš” organization and deputy of Abū Bakr al-Baġdādī, Sāmī Ğāsim.
Al-Kāẓimī in a post on “Twitter”: In a time the eyes of our heroes in the security forces sharp to defend the north election, their arms in the intelligence service undertook one of the most difficult intelligence operations beyond the borders to apprehend the so called Sāmī Ğāsim, the financial director of the Dā‘iš organization and the deputy of Abū Bakr al-Baġdādī.
Al-Kāẓimī had revealed yesterday, after casting his vote on the representative elections that he will announce “a major security achievement tomorrow, on Monday”.
On its own behalf the security media unit on Iraq said that: “the criminal became detained by a professional operation by our heroic forces in the National Intelligence Service in an operation beyond the borders”.
It continued: “The criminal counts to be one of the most important wanted person internationally, who is close to the administrative council of the organization and is close to the current leader of the organization, the criminal ‘Abd Allah al-Qardāšī”.
The media unit revealed that Sāmī Ğāsim was working “on leadership, security and financial posts within the terrorist organization, amongst these on the post of deputy for the terrorist Abū Bakr al-Baġdādī“, pointing out that he also took over “the so called Treasury Chamber in the organization and the Deputy Governor of the Tigris”.

رئيس الحكومة العراقية مصطفى الكاظمي يكشف عن نجاح جهاز المخابرات العراقية في إلقاء القبض على نائب أبو بكر البغدادي سامي جاسم
أعلن رئيس الحكومة العراقية مصطفى الكاظمي، اليوم الاثنين، إلقاء القبض على مشرف المال لتنظيم “داعش” ونائب أبو بكر البغدادي سامي جاسم
وقال الكاظمي في تغريدة له على “تويتر”: في الوقت الذي كانت عيون أبطالنا في القوات الأمنية يقظة لحماية الانتخابات،كانت ذراعهم الأصيلة في جهاز المخابرات تنفذ واحدة من أصعب العمليات المخابراتية خارج الحدود،للقبض على المدعو سامي جاسم، مشرف المال لتنظيم داعش ونائب المقبور أبو بكر البغدادي
وكان الكاظمي قد كشف أمس الأحد، بعد الإدلاء بصوته في الانتخابات النيابية، أنه سيعلن “إنجازاً أمنياً كبيراً يوم غد الإثنين
بدورها، قالت خلية الإعلام الأمني في العراق إنه “تمّ اعتقال المجرم بعمل نوعي من قبل قواتنا الباسلة في جهاز المخابرات الوطني، وبعملية خاصة خارج الحدود”
وتابعت: “يُعدّ المجرم أحد أهم المطلوبين دولياً وهو مقرب من اللجنة المفوضة لإدارة التنظيم ومقرب من زعيم التنظيم الحالي، المجرم عبد الله قرداش
وكشفت خلية الإعلام الأمني أنّ سامي جاسم كان يشغل “مناصب قيادية وأمنية ومالية داخل التنظيم الإرهابي، من بينها شغل منصب نائب الإرهابي، أبو بكر البغدادي”، لافتةً إلى أنه تولى أيضاً “ما يسمى ديوان بيت المال في التنظيم ونائب والي دجلة
