On Thursday the director of the al-Mayadeen office in Yemen reported that Yemeni Armed Forces continue to advance in Ta‘izz Province.
The correspondent reported news of entire divisions surrendering their arms to the Yemeni Armed Forces.
This comes while intense fights have been raging for weeks in numerous regions in Yemen. A new escalations was witnessed since Sunday after the announcement that the Saudi backed forces “started a counteroffensive against the forces of Sana’a to regain the regions that have been taken recently”.
In September the forces of Sana’a took control over the entire western coast of Yemen reaching the strategic Strait of Bāb al-Mandib that is important for the oil export.
On Thursday dawn the Yemeni Armed Forces managed to target the Saudi gatherings and mobilizations at the Qa‘wa in the region of Ra’s al-‘Āra with a number of ballistic missiles. They caused direct hits left behind a large number of deaths and injuries, also burning some of the weapons depots. Thus according to the official spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yaḥyā Sarī‘.
That coincided with the targeted attack hitting other Saudi gatherings and mobilizations at the south of Bāb al-Mandib and the regions of as-Saqyā and Ra’s al-‘Āra with a number of ballistic missiles that successfully hit their targets and left behind dozens of deaths and injures.
On Wednesday Sarī‘ announced that the Yemeni forces managed to expel the Saudi mobilizations trying to advance towards their positions in the East of al-Ğawf Province.
Sarī‘ said that the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the congregations of the Saudi troops with a number of ballistic missiles and drones, pointing out that the attacking forces did not achieve any gains.
He added that the operations caused the death and injury of dozens and the destruction of a number of vehicles of the Saudi forces.
These strikes come within the context of the ongoing response to the Saudi aggression and its direct targeting of civilian positions in the provinces of Sana’a, Ṣa‘da, Ta‘izz, Ḥağğa and Mar’rib.

أفاد مدير مكتب الميادين في اليمن، اليوم الخميس، بأنّ القوات المسلحة اليمنية تواصل التقدم في محافظة تعز.
وأشار مراسلنا إلى أنباء عن تسليم ألوية بأكملها سلاحها للقوات المسلحة اليمنية
يأتي ذلك فيما تدور معارك عنيفة منذ أسابيع في مناطق عدّة في اليمن. وقد شهدت تصعيداً جديداً منذ الأحد مع إعلان القوات المدعومة سعودياً “بدء هجوم مضاد على قوات صنعاء لاسترجاع مناطق سيطروا عليها مؤخراً”.
وسيطرت قوات صنعاء في أيلول/سبتمبر على كامل الساحل الغربي لليمن وصولاً إلى مضيق باب المندب الاستراتيجي والمهم للصادرات النفطية
وفجراً، تمكنت القوات المسلحة اليمنية من استهداف تجمعات وتحشيدات سعودية في معسكر قعوة بمنطقة رأس العارة بعدد من الصواريخ الباليستية، حيث كانت الإصابات مباشرة، وخلفت العديد من القتلى والجرحى واحتراق بعض مخازن الأسلحة، بحسب المتحدّث باسم القوات المسلحة اليمنية، العميد يحيى سريع.
وقد تزامن مع هذا الاستهداف استهداف آخر لتجمعات وتحشيدات سعودية جنوبي باب المندب ومنطقة السقيا ورأس العارة، وذلك بعدد من الصواريخ الباليستية، التي حققت أهدافها بنجاح وخلفت عشرات القتلى والجرحى.
وأمس الأربعاء، أعلن سريع، أنّ القوات اليمنية تمكّنت من طرد تحشيدات سعودية حاولت التقدّم باتجاه مواقعها شرقي محافظة الجوف.
وقال سريع إنّ القوات المسلحة اليمنية استهدفت تجمّعات التحشيدات السعودية بعدد من الصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيّرة، مشيراً إلى أنّ القوات المهاجمة لم تحرز أيّ تقدّم.
وأضاف أنّ العمليات أسفرت عن مقتل وإصابة العشرات وتدمير عدد من الآليات التابعة للقوات السعودية.
وتأتي هذه الضربات في إطار الردّ المستمر على العدوان السعودي واستهدافه المباشر للأعيان المدنية في محافظات صنعاء وصعدة وتعز وحجة ومأرب
