The United States of America continues to try to confirm that its had no connection, or prior knowledge about the targeted Israeli attack against the Iranian consulate in Damascus, as it also tries to prevent any escalation that might lead to the development and expansion of the conflict to the region.

White House spokeswoman Karen Jean-Pierre confirmed that the United States of America is dedicated to the security of “Israel”about “the threat of Iran and its proxies”, pointing out at the same time that its administration informed Iran “that the United States had nothing to do with the attack of the consulate in Damascus”.
Jean-Pierre confirmed that the United States does not want “conflict of the region to expand”.
As for the Israeli war against the Gaza Strip the White House spokeswoman said that American President Joe Biden “was clear with Netanyahu about the need to announce and take tangible steps to solve the humanitarian suffering in Gaza”. Also adding that “we are still expecting more from Israel, including the delivery of aid to Northern Gaza”.
In the same context the American State Department announced that Antony Blinken “talked with his colleagues in Türkiye, China and Saudi Arabia in the last few hours to explain that the escalation is not in the interest of anyone” at a time “when we still feel concerned about the dangers of escalation in the Middle East, especially after the threats of Iran against Israel”.

The Iranian mission to the United Nation underlined the need by its state to respond to the Israeli attack against its consulate in the Syrian capital Damascus, which had led to the loss of 7 Iranian martyrs, including Brigadier General Moḥammad Reẓā Zāhedī.
On Thursday the mission stated that if the UN Security Council had “condemned the Zionist attack against its diplomatic quarters in Damascus and would have accounted after that the perpetrator it would have been possible for Iran to abstain from punishing this Entity”.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī on Wednesday underlined that the Zionist Entity will be punished for its crime against the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
As-Sayyid Hāmeneī in his ‘Īd al-Fiṭr sermon in Tehran said that the Zionist Entity was not satisfied with the killing of women, children and elderly in Gaza during the month of Ramadan, but it has even intensified its attacks and crimes.

أكّدت المتحدثة باسم البيت الأبيض، كارين جان-بيار، التزام الولايات المتحدة. الأميركية بأمن “إسرائيل” تجاه “تهديد إيران ووكلائها”، مشيرةً في الوقت عينه إلى أنّ إدارتها نقلت لإيران “أنه لا علاقة. للولايات المتحدة بهجوم القنصلية في دمشق”.
وأشارت جان-بيار إلى أنّ الولايات المتحدة لا تريد “للصراع في المنطقة أن يتوسع”.
وفي ما يتعلق بالحرب الإسرائيلية على قطاع غزة، قالت المتحدثة باسم البيت. الأبيض، إنّ الرئيس الأميركي جو بايدن “كان واضحاً مع نتنياهو بشأن ضرورة إعلان وتنفيذ خطوات ملموسة. لمعالجة المعاناة الإنسانية بغزة”، مضيفةً، “ما زلنا ننتظر المزيد من إسرائيل بما في ذلك إيصال المساعدات لشمال غزة”.
وفي السياق، أعلنت الخارجية الأميركية، أن أنتوني بلينكن “تحدث إلى نظرائه في تركيا. والصين والسعودية خلال الساعات الماضية، لتوضيح أن التصعيد ليس من مصلحة أحد”، في الوقت. الذي “لا نزال نشعر بقلق بشأن مخاطر التصعيد في الشرق الأوسط، خاصةً بعد تهديدات إيران لإسرائيل
وشدّدت بعثة إيران في الأمم المتحدة، على ضرورة ردّ بلادها على الهجوم الإسرائيلي. على قنصليتها في العاصمة السورية دمشق، والذي أدّى إلى ارتقاء 7 مستشارين إيرانيين من بينهم العميد محمد رضا زاهدي.
وقالت البعثة، اليوم الخميس أنه لو كان مجلس الأمن الدولي قد “دان العدوان الصهيوني. على مقارنا الدبلوماسية في دمشق، وقام فيما بعد بمحاكمة منفذيه، لكان من الممكن أن تصرف. إيران النظر عن ضرورة معاقبة هذا الكيان”.
كما أكّد أيضاً قائد الثورة والجمهورية الإسلامية في إيران، السيد علي خامنئي، أمس. الأربعاء، أنّ الكيان الصهيوني سيعاقب على جريمة القنصلية الإيرانية في دمشق.
وقال السيد خامنئي، في خطبة صلاة عيد الفطر في طهران، إنّ الكيان الصهيوني. لم يكفّ عن قتل النساء والأطفال والآمنين في غزة خلال شهر رمضان، بل كثّف عدوانه وجرائمه
