The Turkish Ministry of Interior announces launching a new security operation against the “PKK” organization in Batman Province in the southeast of the country.
The Turkish Ministry of Interior announced launching a new security operation against the troops of the Kurdistani Workers’ Parts (PKK) in Batman Province in the southeast of the country.
According to the announcement published by the ministry the security operation bearing the name “Erin Hisar 20” involves 650 troops of the Police Special Forces and commandos of the gendarmerie.
The statement confirmed that the operation aims to “neutralize the terrorists and cleanse the country from other terrorists”.
On 15 December 2022, the Turkish Intelligence Service announced “the neutralization of two leading members of the PKK organization in Northern Iraq and Syria”.
Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu on November 19 said that the organization of the Kurdistani Workers’ Party (PKK) is “an American intelligence organization”, adding that “the Turkish Democratic People’s Party is a political extension to the “PKK”.
The Interior Ministry launched a series of operations “Erin” against the PKK in January 2021.
It should be pointed out that according to the Anadolu news agency the name “Erin” was given to the operations for the Turkish young man Erin Bilal who was killed by the troops of the Kurdistani Workers’ Party on 11 August 2017.

وزارة الداخلية التركية تعلن إطلاق عملية أمنية جديدة ضد عناصر تنظيم “بي كي كي”، في ولاية باطمان جنوبي شرق البلاد
أعلنت وزارة الداخلية التركية، إطلاق عملية أمنية جديدة ضد عناصر تنظيم حزب العمال الكردستاني (بي كي كي)، في ولاية باطمان جنوبي شرق البلاد.
وبحسب البيان الصادر عن الوزارة إنّ العملية الأمنية التي حملت اسم “أرن الحصار خريف – شتاء 20″، يُشارك فيها 650 عنصراً أمنياً من القوات الخاصة في الشرطة، وقوات الكوماندوز من الدرك.
وأكد البيان أنّ العملية تهدف إلى “تحييد الإرهابيين وتطهير البلاد من آخر إرهابي”.
وفي 15 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2022، أعلن جهاز الاستخبارات التركي، “تحييد قياديين إثنين في تنظيم بي كي كي شمالي العراق وسوريا”.
وكان وزير الداخلية التركي سليمان صويلو، قال في 19 تشرين ثاني/نوفمبر، إنّ تنظيم حزب العمال الكردستاني (بي كي كي) هو “تنظيم للاستخبارات الأميركية”، مضيفاً أنّ “حزب الشعب الديمقراطي التركي هو الامتداد السياسي لـ بي كي كي”.
وبدأت وزارة الداخلية سلسلة عمليات “أرن” ضد “بي كي كي” في كانون الثاني/يناير 2021.
ويشار إلى أنّ اسم “أرن” أطلق على تلك العمليات نسبة إلى الشاب التركي أرن بلبل، الذي قتل من قبل عناصر في حزب العمال الكردستاني في 11 آب/أغسطس2017، بحسب وكالة “الأناضول
