The Tunisian judiciary officially raised “terrorism” charge against President of the an-Nahḍa Movement Rāšid al-Ġannūšī, while attorney Īmān Qazāra says that “the preliminary investigating judge raised 17 charges against 33 people for belonging to a terrorist organization”.
On Tuesday the Tunisian judiciary officially raised the charge of “belonging to a terrorist organization” against 33 people, amongst them President of the “an-Nahḍa” Movement and Speaker of the dissolved parliament Rāšid al-Ġannūšī.
Attorney Īmān Qazāra said on Tuesday that “the preliminary investigating judge at district 23 office of the anti-terrorism judiciary department raised 17 charges against the suspects numbering 33. Most significant among these charges are affiliation to the terrorist organization and money laundering”.
It should be remembered that the Defense Institution about the two martyrs Šukrī bil-‘Ayd and Muḥammad al-Brahīmī had said in a press conference that indeed 34 suspects of a “secret organization” of the an-Nahḍa Movement case were barred from traveling, amongst them Rāšid al-Ġannūšī.
A member of Popular Movement Party leadership Mubārak al-Brahīmī in an interview with al-Mayadeen had said previously that “the judiciary was a hostage of the previous governments. There is evidence that had been provided to the Defense Institution before that many of the suspects in the secret organization cases disappeared from Tunisia, yet did not pass through the legal border crossings (land or sea) and they were not at their residences of party premises”.

القضاء التونسي يوجّه تهمة “الإرهاب” رسمياً إلى رئيس حركة النهضة، راشد الغنوشي، والمحامية إيمان قزارة تقول إنّ “قاضي التحقيق الأوّل وجّه 17 تهمة إلى 33 شخصاً بالانتماء إلى تنظيم إرهابي
وجه القضاء التونسي رسمياً، اليوم الثلاثاء، تهمة “الانتماء إلى تنظيم إرهابي” إلى 33 شخصاً، بينهم رئيس حركة “النهضة”، رئيس البرلمان المنحل، راشد الغنوشي.
وقالت المحامية إيمان قزارة، اليوم الثلاثاء، إنّ “قاضي التحقيق الأوّل، في المكتب الـ23 في القطب القضائي لمكافحة الإرهاب، وجّه 17 تهمة إلى المتّهمين، وعددهم 33. ومن أبرز هذه التّهم الانتماء إلى تنظيم إرهابي وغسل الأموال”.
يُذكَر أنّ هيئة الدّفاع عن الشهيدين شكري بلعيد ومحمد البراهمي سبق أن أكّدت، خلال ندوة صحافية، أنّه تمّ منع السفر لـ34 متهماً في قضية “الجهاز السري” لحركة النّهضة، بينهم راشد الغنوشي.
ولفتت القيادية في حزب التيار الشعبي، مباركة البراهمي، في حديث إلى الميادين، في وقتٍ سابق، إلى أنّ “القضاء كان رهينة لدى الحكومات السابقة. ومن بين المعطيات التي قدمتها هيئة الدفاع، في الفترة السابقة، أن كثيرين من المتهمين في قضايا في ملف الجهاز السري اختفوا من تونس، ولم يمروا عبر المعابر القانونية (براً وبحراً)، وليسوا في مقارّ إقاماتهم أو أحزابهم
