The Syrian Air Defense counters the Israeli aggression in the southern and western parts of the capital Damascus. The SANA News Agency confirms that the air defense managed to take down most of the enemy missiles before they reached their target.
The Syrian Air Defense countered the Israeli aggression in the southern and western parts of the capital Damascus. The SANA Syrian News Agency reported that the Israeli aggression was done from above the occupied Syrian Ğūlān and targeted the new neighborhood of ‘Arṭūz, Hān aš-Šayh and Sa‘sa‘ in the Western side of Damascus, while it also targeted Marğ Sulṭān in Eastern al-Ġūṭa, al-Kiswa, and Ğisr Baġdād, all the way down to the south to Izra‘ in Dar‘ā. SANA confirmed that the Syrian Air Defense managed to take down most of the enemy missiles before they reached their targets.
The reporter of al-Mayadeen reported that the Syrian Army cut the Sarāqib-Aleppo highway in the Eastern countryside of Idlib and tightened the noose around the militants after it took control over the town of Qīrāṭ to the north of the city. The Syrian Army surrounded the city during the last hours from the 3 sides, the east, the south and the west. Syrian oppositional sources brought that the army entered Sarāqib from the north and the armed groups withdrew from the city.
Until that point 5 civilians got martyred, amongst them a child and a pregnant woman, while 10 others got wounded from the the bombs and the missiles fired by the an-Nuṣra Front upon the neighborhood of al-Ḥamdāniyya in Aleppo. According to the informations of al-Mayadeen the source of the the bombs fired was the neighborhood of ar-Rāšidīn and Hān al-‘Asal in the Southwest of Aleppo. These are the areas the an-Nuṣra Front and the Turkestani Islamic Party took hold of.
A military source confirmed to al-Mayadeen net that check point belonging to the Syrian Army in the town of Tall Šāmīrān stopped and America convoy trying to cross towards the areas where the Syrian Army is spread across.

الدفاعات الجوية السورية تتصدى لعدوان إسرائيلي في المنطقة الجنوبية والغربية للعاصمة دمشق، ووكالة سانا تؤكّد أن الدفاعات تمكّنت من إسقاط معظم الصواريخ المعادية قبل وصولها إلى أهدافها
تصدّت الدفاعات الجوية السورية لعدوان إسرائيلي في المنطقة الجنوبية والغربية للعاصمة دمشق، وأفادت وكالة سانا السورية بأن العدوان الإسرائيلي تمّ من فوق الجولان السوري المحتل واستهدف منطقة جديدة عرطوز، وخان الشيح، وسعسع في ريف دمشق الغربي، كما استهدف مرج السلطان في الغوطة الشرقية، والكسوة، وجسر بغداد وصولاً إلى جنوب إزرع في ريف درعا. وأكّدت سانا أن الدفاعات الجوية السورية تمكّنت من إسقاط معظم الصواريخ المعادية قبل وصولها إلى أهدافها
وأفاد مراسل الميادين بأن الجيش السوري قطع طريق سراقب – حلب في ريف إدلب الشرقي وزاد الخناق على المسلحين بعد سيطرته على قرية قيراط شمالي المدينة، وكان الجيش السوري قد طوق خلال الساعات الماضية المدينة من 3 محاور الشرقي والجنوبي والغربي، أما المرصد السوري المعارض فأشار إلى أن الجيش دخل سراقب وأن الجماعات المسلحة انسحبت من المدينة
إلى ذلك استشهد 5 مدنيين بينهم طفل وأم حامل، وأصيب 10 آخرون من جرّاء سقوط قذائف وصواريخ أطلقتها جبهة النصرة على حي الحمدانية في حلب، وبحسب معلومات لـ الميادين فإن مصدر إطلاق القذائف هو حي الراشدين وخان العسل جنوب غرب حلب، وهي المناطق التي يسيطر عليها كل من جبهة النصرة والحزب الاسلامي التركستاني
وكان مصدر عسكري أكّد لـ الميادين نت أن حاجزاً يتبع للجيش السوري في بلدة تل شاميران أوقف رتلاً أميركياً كان يحاول المرور باتجاه مناطق انتشار الجيش السوري
