The Iranian Cosmical and Areal forces announce demolishing the second American “THAAD” system in the region.

On Tuesday the Islamic Revolutionary Guards announced targeting the second American “THAAD” type missile defense system in West Asia with precision missiles fired by its Cosmical and Areal Forces, confirming that it became out of operational service.

The Revolutionary Guards pointed out that on Monday as well the radar of the “THAAD” system based in the ar-Ruways base in the Emirates had been destroyed.

The statement added that with the destruction of these two systems the missile arm of the Iranian Islamic Republic regained its capability to hit its targets with precision.

Earlier on Tuesday the Bloomberg news agency citing Chatham House international security program director Marion Meismer, reported that Iran intentionally tries to deplete the American air defense systems and their missile stockpiles.

He continued that for the fourth day Iran continued to launch repeated attacks in the Gulf and against the Israeli Occupying Entity, in response to the American-Israeli attacks against it that had started on Friday morning and had led to the fall of hundreds of martyrs, most prominent amongst them Supreme Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution and Republic as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī.

أعلن حرس الثورة الإسلامية في إيران الثلاثاء، استهداف ثاني منظومة دفاع صاروخي أميركية من طراز “ثاد” في منطقة غرب آسيا، بصواريخ دقيقة أطلقتها القوّة الجوفضائية التابعة له، مؤكداً إخراجها من الخدمة التشغيلية.

وأشار حرس الثورة إلى أنّه جرى يوم أمس الاثنين أيضاً، تدمير رادار منظومة “ثاد” المتمركز في قاعدة الرويس في الإمارات

وأضاف البيان أنّه مع تدمير هاتين المنظومتين، استعاد الذراع الصاروخي للجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية قدرته على إصابة أهدافه بنجاح.

وفي وقت سابق اليوم، أكّدت وكالة “بلومبرغ” أنّ إيران تحاول عمداً استنزاف  أنظمة الدفاع الجوي الأميركية ومخزونات الصواريخ، وذلك نقلاً عن مديرة برنامج الأمن الدولي في “تشاتام هاوس” ماريون ميسمر.

وتواصل إيران شنّ هجمات لليوم الرابع على التوالي في الخليج وكيان الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، رداً على الاعتداءات الأميركية- الإسرائيلية عليها، التي بدأت صباح يوم السبت الماضي، وأدّت إلى ارتقاء مئات الشهداء، وعلى رأسهم قائد الثورة والجمهورية الإسلامية السيد علي خامنئي
