Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Būsa‘īdī with the leader of Sana’a negotiating delegation Muḥammad ‘Abd as-Salām studies the importance to reach a political solution between all parties, which strengthens the security and stability in Yemen.
Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Būsa‘īdī yesterday noon welcomed the head of the negotiating delegation of Sana’a Muḥammad ‘Abd as-Salām.
The meeting took place to boost the taken efforts to end the war in Yemen and to confirm the importance to find a political solution between all parties, which strengthens security and stability.
The Omani Foreign Ministry pointed out that the meeting with al-Būsa‘īdī and ‘Abd as-Salām confirmed the importance to find a political solution between all sides, which serves the security and stability in Yemen.
It pointed out that during the meeting the taken efforts were discussed to stop the war in
Yemen.
In a comment in his Twitter account ‘Abd as-Salām said: “we discussed the political situation in Yemen and the path of the negotiations and the ongoing dialogue with the international community”.
He also appreciated the role of the Sultanate in supporting the peace in Yemen the trying to put an end to humanitarian suffering.
It should be remembered that at the end of March the Sultanate of Oman announced that it continues the negotiations with Saudi Arabia and the U.N. and the U.S. special envoys in Yemen to solve the Yemeni crisis.
U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres thanked the efforts taken by the Sultanate of Oman, pointing out that it “takes an important role building the bridges for peace in the region, including Yemen”.

كما ثمّن دور السلطنة في دعم السلام في اليمن والحد من معاناته الانسانية
يذكر أنه في أواخر أذار/ مارس الماضي، أعلنت سلطنة عُمان أنها مستمرة في التفاوض مع السعودية والمبعوثين الأممي والأميركي الخاصين باليمن لحل الأزمة اليمنية
وشكر الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش، الجهود التي تبذلها سلطنة عُمان، موضحاً أنها “تقوم بدور مهم في تشييد جسور السلام في المنطقة بما في ذلك في اليمن
