Iraqi Foreign Minister Fu’ād Ḥussayn rejects Netanyahu’s statements against the factions of the Resistance, confirming from New York that any aggression against any Iraqi counts as attack against Iraq.

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fu’ād Ḥussayn expressed that he rejects the statements of Prime Minister to the Israeli Occupation Benjamin Netanyahu about Iraq, confirming that “the statements are rejected and unacceptable”, and that “the attack against any Iraqi counts as attack against the whole of Iraq”.

During a press conference held in New York Ḥussayn expressed that Iraq decisively rejects the Israeli threats that were launched by Netanyahu from the podium of the United Nations, underlining that these statements constitute an aggression against the Iraqi sovereignty and against its people”.

In his speech in front of the UN General Assembly Netanyahu had addressed direct threats against the factions of the Resistance in Iraq, promising to target them.

Dozens of diplomatic delegations withdrew from the chamber with the beginning of the speech of Netanyahu. His statements raised questions about the messages addressed to Baghdad and the Israeli targets at a sensitive regional time, when the matter of Iraqi internal security is coinciding with escalating regional tensions.

أعرب وزير الخارجية العراقي، فؤاد حسين، عن رفضه تصريحات رئيس وزراء. الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، بنيامين نتنياهو، بشأن العراق، مؤكداً أنّ “التصريحات مرفوضة وغير مقبولة”، وأنّ. “الهجوم على أي عراقي يُعد هجوماً على العراق بأكمله”.

وخلال مؤتمر صحافي عقده في نيويورك، أوضح حسين، أنّ العراق يرفض. بشكلٍ قاطع التهديدات الإسرائيلية التي أطلقها نتنياهو، من على منبر الأمم المتحدة، مشدداً على أنّ هذه التصريحات. تمثل اعتداءً على السيادة العراقية وعلى شعبها.

وكان نتنياهو قد وجّه، في كلمة أمام الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، تهديداً مباشراً لفصائل. المقاومة في العراق متوعداً باستهدافها.
