The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announce the martyrdom of the Commander of the Naval Forces, Admiral ‘Alī Reẓā Tangsīrī in an American-Israeli aggression against the country.

On Monday the Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced the martyrdom of the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Revolutionary Guards, Admiral ‘Alī Reẓā Tangsīrī.
In a statement the Revolutionary Guards stated that Tagsīrī got martyred due to injuries while organizing and strengthening the forces and enhancing the defense deterrence at the island and at the coastline, adding that he got injured after the powerful strikes that he had launched against the installations and infrastructure of the enemy and shooting down an American fighter plane.
The Revolutionary Guards confirmed that his front is used to give martyrs, underlining that the path he walked on will continue with force and steadfastness, despite the challenges.
The Revolutionary Guards explained that its naval forces will continue to follow the guidance of its commander by carrying out powerful strikes and continuing to manage the frontlines with will at the Strait of Hormuz.
The Revolutionary Guards added that “every fighter in the Revolutionary Guards Naval Forces is a Tangsīrī”, pointing out that path of the previous commanders will continue, confirming that the next phase will carry “surprises” on the operational front and military achievements.
The Revolutionary Guards underlined that it viewed to the leadership of the country and to the Iranian people to continue “on the path of the martyrs until victory is achieved”, and working on completely triumphing over the enemy.
Tangsīrī. On of the most prominent contributors to forming a naval strategy
Tangsīrī was the sixth Commander of the Revolutionary Guards Naval Forces, as he took his post in 2018 by the order of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Martyr as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī, and he continued in his post until his martyrdom.
Tangsīrī had worked before than on various prominent leadership positions, including the command of the first naval district at Bandar ‘Abbās, and worked on the post of Deputy Commander of Revolutionary Guards Naval Forces between 2010 and 2018.
His role was not limited to frontline command, as Tangsīrī was known as one of the most prominent contributors to forming the Iranian naval doctrine in the Gulf and at the Strait of Hormuz that relies on asymmetric war tactics, including the use of speedboats, naval mines, coastline missiles and drones.
At the end of 2024 the Iranian Mehr News Agency citied Tangsīrī announcing the start of building 67 meter long aluminum buoys to launches directed missiles.

أعلن حرس الثورة في إيران، اليوم الإثنين، استشهاد قائد القوة البحرية للحرس الأدميرال علي رضا تنكسيري.
وقال الحرس، في بيان، إن تنكسيري استشهد متأثراً بجراحه أثناء تنظيم وتعزيز القوات وتقوية الدرع الدفاعي للجزر والسواحل، مضيفاً أنه استشهد بعد الضربات القوية التي ألحقها بمنشآت العدو وبنيته التحتية وإسقاطه مقاتلة أميركية.
وأكد الحرس أن جبهته اعتادت تقديم الشهداء، مشدداً على أن المسار الذي ينتهجه سيستمر بقوة وثبات رغم التحديات.
وأوضح الحرس أن بحريته تواصل السير على نهج قائدها، عبر تنفيذ ضربات قوية والاستمرار في إدارة المشهد الميداني بحزم في مضيق هرمز.
وأضاف الحرس أن “كل مقاتل في بحرية الحرس هو تنكسيري”، في إشارة إلى الاستمرار على خط القادة السابقين، مؤكداً أن المرحلة المقبلة ستحمل “مفاجآت” على صعيد العمليات والإنجازات العسكرية
وشدد الحرس على التعهد لقيادة البلاد والشعب الإيراني بمواصلة “طريق الشهداء حتى تحقيق النصر”، والعمل على إخضاع العدو بشكل كامل.
تنكسيري… أحد أبرز المساهمين في صياغة العقيدة البحرية
ويُعدّ تنكسيري سادس قائد لبحرية الحرس، إذ تولّى منصبه عام 2018 بقرار من قائد الثورة الإسلامية الشهيد السيد علي خامنئي، واستمر في موقعه حتى استشهاده.
وشغل تنكسيري قبل ذلك عدة مواقع قيادية بارزة، من بينها قيادة المنطقة البحرية الأولى في بندر عباس، إضافة إلى منصب نائب قائد القوات البحرية للحرس خلال الفترة بين عامي 2010 و2018.
ولم يقتصر دوره على القيادة الميدانية، إذ عُرف تنكسيري كأحد أبرز المساهمين في صياغة العقيدة البحرية الإيرانية في الخليج ومضيق هرمز، والتي تعتمد على تكتيكات الحرب غير المتكافئة، بما في ذلك استخدام الزوارق السريعة، والألغام البحرية، والصواريخ الساحلية، والطائرات المسيّرة.
وفي أواخر عام 2024، نقلت وكالة “مهر” الإيرانية عن تنكسيري إعلانه بدء بناء عوامات من الألومينيوم بطول 67 متراً مخصصة لإطلاق الصواريخ الموجهة
