Algerian Presidential Office announces that after an official visit to Doha President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn will head to Beijing, answering the the invitation of his Chinese colleague.
Algerian President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn has left the State of Qatar heading to Beijing, after a working visit held in Doha. The Algerian Presidential Office announced that Tabbūn’s official visit to Beijing will start on Monday.
This visit comes in response to the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jingping, and aims to develop the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement signed between Algeria and China in 2014.
The Algerian President took an official visit to Doha at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar aš-Šayh Tamīm ibn Ḥamad Āl Tānī, where he met a number of Qatari dignitaries. During this, he discussed that ways to improve the bilateral cooperation between the two states and the mutually relevant matters.
This is the third visit taken by the Algerian president to the Qatari capital Doha since he took office in 2019.
The Algerian-Qatari relations show a progress in recent years, especially in the economic field and in political partnership.
It should be mentioned that the Algerian president had already confirmed in June while having talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow that Algeria is trying to speed up the track of its joining to the BRICS group.
Tabbūn announced in December 2022 that his country has the consent of Russia, China, South Africa, and Brazil to join the BRICS group.

بعد زيارة رسمية إلى الدوحة، الرئاسة الجزائرية تعلن أنّ الرئيس عبد المجيد تبون، سيتوجه إلى بكين بناءً على دعوةٍ من نظيره الصيني
غادر الرئيس الجزائري، عبد المجيد تبون، دولة قطر متوجهاً إلى بكين، بعد زيارة عمل أجراها في الدوحة. وأعلنت الرئاسة الجزائرية أنّ زيارة تبون الرسمية إلى بكين، تبدأ اليوم الإثنين.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة بناءً على دعوةٍ من نظيره الصيني، شي جين بينغ. وتهدف إلى تطوير اتفاقية الشراكة الاستراتيجية الشاملة الموقعهة بين الجزائر والصين عام 2014.
وقام الرئيس الجزائري بزيارة رسمية إلى الدوحة، بدعوة من أمير قطر الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، حيث التقى الأخير وعدد من المسؤولين القطريين، وبحث خلالها سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، والقضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وهذه الزيارة هي الثالثة التي يقوم بها الرئيس الجزائري إلى العاصمة القطرية الدوحة، منذ تسلّمه السلطة في آخر عام 2019.
وتشهد العلاقات الجزائرية القطرية تطوراً خلال السنوات الأخيرة، خصوصاً في المجال الاقتصادي والشراكة السياسية.
يُذكر أنّ الرئيس الجزائري كان قد أكّد في منتصف حزيران/يونيو الماضي، خلال محادثات مع الرئيس الروسي، فلاديمير بوتين، في موسكو، أنّ الجزائر تحاول تسريع مسار انضمامها إلى مجموعة “بريكس”.
وأعلن تبون في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2022، أنّ لدى بلاده موافقة من روسيا والصين وجنوب أفريقيا، والبرازيل على انضمام الجزائر إلى منظمة الـ “بريكس
