The Sudanese police arrest more than a hundred members of the National Conference Party “who were planning acts of sabotage” according to a Sudanese official. Sudanese labor union renouncing the aggression of the security authorities against the protests.
The Sudanese police in the capital Khartoum detained at least 200 members of the National Conference Party, supporters of the removed president ‘Umar al-Bašīr’s government, while at the same time protests were scattered in the capital and a number of provinces, which were asking for the fall of the transitional government.
Tens of supporters of the Islamist trend organized protests close to the presidential palace in Khartoum on Wednesday morning, but also the members of the Communist Party and the resistance committees took the streets. The regions of Umdurmān and Baḥrī witnessed similar gatherings, which were scattered by the police.
According to a member of the Stabilization Committee Wağdī Ṣāliḥ, “the attorney general’s office arrested 79 people on Wednesday in a number of areas in Khartoum, who were planning sabotage”.
Wağdī pointed out “that the sabotage plan involved the youth and women leaders and elders of the past regime, in addition to the officers of the state institutions”. He thus explained how the plan was foiled, which he summed up as “causing chaos with weapons in a number of regions of Khartoum and there was cooperation between the gangs in Ummdurmān wit the same aim”.
The Sudanese unions renounced the aggression of the security authorities against the peaceful protesters, who took the streets to demand the realization of the aims of the revolution and to topple the transitional government because of the dire living conditions in the country.
The unions in a statement called for starting an investigation and presenting those responsible for the excesses of the security agencies to the government, while also for all revolutionary forces to be steadfast in any position about the peaceful nature of their resistance actions”.

الشرطة السودانية تعتقل أكثر من مئة عضو في حزب المؤتمر الوطني، “كانوا يخططون لأعمال تخريبية”، وفق مسؤول سوداني. وتجمع المهنيين السودانيين يدين قمع السلطات الأمنية للتظاهرات
ألقت الشرطة السودانية في العاصمة الخرطوم، القبض على ما لا يقل عن 200 عضو في حزب المؤتمر الوطني من كوادر نظام الرئيس المعزول عمر البشير، تزامناً مع احتجاجات متفرقة في العاصمة وعدد من الولايات، للمطالبة برحيل الحكومة الإنتقالية
وقد نظم العشرات من مؤيدي التيار الإسلامي، احتجاجات قرب القصر الرئاسي في الخرطوم، صباح الأربعاء. كذلك، خرج أنصار للحزب الشيوعي ولجان المقاومة في مواكب منفصلة، وقد شهدت مناطق أم درمان وبحري تجمعات مماثلة، فرقتها الشرطة
وبحسب عضو لجنة إزالة التمكين وجدي صالح، “أوقفت النيابة العامة 79 شخصاً، الأربعاء، في عدد من مناطق الخرطوم كانوا يخططون لأعمال تخريبية
وأشار وجدي “أن المخطط التخريبي يضم قيادات شبابية ونسائية، وقادة في النظام السابق، إضافة إلى موظفين في مؤسسات الدولة”، معلناً إجهاض المخطط الذي يتلخص “بإحداث فوضى بالسلاح الأبيض، في عدد من مناطق الخرطوم، كما جرى التنسيق مع عصابات نيقرز في أم درمان للهدف عينه”.
تجمع المهنيين السودانيين دان قمع السلطات الأمنية للتظاهرات السلمية التي خرجت للمطالبة بتحقيق أهداف الثورة وإسقاط الحكومة الانتقالية، بسبب الأوضاع المعيشية المتردية بالبلاد
التجمع وفي بيانٍ له، دعا إلى فتح تحقيقٍ وتقديم المسؤولين عن انتهاكات الأجهزة الأمنية للمحاكمة إلى جانب تمسك القوى الثورية بكل مكوناتها بسلمية عملها المقاوم.
