Iran warns through mediators that any decision against its nuclear program will meet a decisive response and Washington will be responsible for the consequences.

Insightful political source reported to al-Mayadeen that Iran through mediators informed the United States that any report issued by the International Atomic Energy Agency against its nuclear program will not be viewed as solely a European step, “but Washington will also be responsible for the consequences”.

The sources confirmed that “Tehran explained to the American side that its response to any escalation by the agency will have a direct affect on the track of the current indirect negotiations”. Thus pointing out that “the Islamic Republic will not accept using technical reports as tools for political pressure”.

According to the same sources Iran warned the European Troika that “the path to return to the negotiating table does not go through escalation decisions against it”. Thus expressed that any step of this kind despite Tehran’s constant cooperation with the Agency “will meet a decisive and well studied response”.

The sources underlined that Iran “might reconsider its cooperation mechanism with the Agency and the concessions it allowed to it”, in case the latter gave out a new report that is not in cohesion with the present technical reality.

Also confirming that the response “will remain within the frame of the relations with the International Atomic Energy Agency that is still – by its view – the only designated side to oversee the Iranian nuclear program”, despite what want it described as “bias in its professional path”t he agency has taken recently.

The sources warned about “any Western attempt to exploit the reports of the Agency in the UN Security Council that will lead to the total change of the equations about the Iranian nuclear program, opening the door for wider options that might not be desirable for all sides”.

In the same context Leader of the Iranian Islamic Republic and Revolution of Iran as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī on Wednesday warned that Tehran will not abandon the uranium enrichment.

As-Sayyid Hāmeneī on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of Imam Homeīnī passing away said that the offered American proposal about the Iranian nuclear program “is 100% opposed” to the expression of “we can” that was “implanted by Imam Homeīnī in us and which the enemies are planning to erase and break us”.

أفادت مصادر سياسية مطلعة للميادين بأنّ إيران أبلغت الولايات المتحدة، عبر وسطاء، أنّ أيّ قرار يصدر. عن الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية ضدّ برنامجها النووي، لن يُنظر إليه على أنه خطوة أوروبية فحسب، “بل ستحمل واشنطن أيضاً مسؤولية تبعاته”.

وأكدت المصادر أن “طهران أوضحت للجانب الأميركي أنّ ردّها على أيّ تصعيد من الوكالة. سيترك أثراً مباشراً على مسار المحادثات غير المباشرة الجارية”، مشيرةً إلى أن “الجمهورية الإسلامية لن. تقبل باستخدام القرارات التقنية كأدوات ضغط سياسي”.
