Sources in Sudan and Egypt reveal that Saudi Arabia will pay compensation to the United States of America in the amount of $335 million instead of Sudan. This is to speed up the normalization of relations between Khartoum and Tel Aviv.
Sources in Sudan and Egypt have revealed that Saudi Arabia will pay $335 million to the United States in order to speed up the normalization of relations between Khartoum and Tel Aviv. That is according to what was mentioned by the “Middle East Eye”.
According to the press sources, Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān will rapidly intervene, after American President Donald Trump laid down a condition stating that Sudan shall pay compensation for Washington, and Trump described that event as “great news”.
Yesterday, on Thursday sources in the Sudanese government to Reuters confirmed that President of the Transitional Government ‘Abd Allah Ḥamdūk is ready for normalization of relations with “Israel” if the Parliament approves it.
The two sources to the Reuters made it clear that Khartoum is concern about the normalization “reflects the fears from taking such a major step as it will corrupt the careful balance between the army and the civilians.”
It should be mentioned that the “Israel HaYoum” newspaper said yesterday, on Thursday that after many months of efforts and busy contacts with the United States Sudan decided for full normalization of relations with “Israel”, according to what the newspaper published on insightful diplomatic sources.
According to the newspaper the official and public announcement on the decision is about to happen at the weekend, as it seems so after a telephone conversation between American President Donald Trump and President of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council ‘Abd al-Fattāḥ al-Burhān.
According to the newspaper the day before yesterday, on Wednesday “a direct and rare trip was launched from “Israel” to Khartoum and has returned”.
American officials accompanied the Israeli delegation going to Khartoum on Wednesday and held negotiations about “expected improvement of relations with Sudan”.
On the other hand, the Israeli media reported yesterday, on Thursday from the director of the “Mossad” his confirmation that “Saudi Arabia awaits the American presidential elections” in a sign that “there are very big efforts on the Saudi fold and we hope there will be something out of it”.
The American President announced on Monday the lift of Sudan’s name from the list of states supporting terrorism after Khartoum paid $335 million as compensation for the families of the American victims of terrorism.
At that time held of the Transitional Government, ‘Abd Allah Ḥamdūk commented this saying: “We are looking forward to the American President suggesting a decision to the Congress to lift Sudan’s name from the list of countries harboring terrorism”.
Before that, the “Al-Monitor” said that the United States and the Emirates are exercising pressure for the normalization by Sudan with “Israel”.
The al-Mayadeen also reported on sources last month that there are Israeli-American-Emirati conditions suggested to Sudan about the normalization, amongst these Sudanese Minister of Justice, who also holds American citizenship and had previously worked as an advisor to American and Gulf offices accompany the normalizing delegation.
The 47 conditions included the possibility that Sudan would be the exchange homeland for the Palestinian settlers, American control over the Sudanese Red Sea area via the southern part of Sudan, and in addition to these, the Sudanese authorities would prevent Chinese companies any investment.
Washington also demanded its oversight of the ports and regional waters of Sudan by an anti-terrorist branch and the modification of the Sudanese educational curriculum. In addition to these Sudan would be transformed into a safe heaven for those being banished from the Emirates, “Israel”, or America.

وتضمنّت الشروط وعددها 47، إمكانية أن يكون السودان وطناً بديلاً لتوطين الفلسطينيين، والسيطرة الأميركية في البحر الأحمر السوداني عن طريق جنوب السودان، إضافةً إلى منع السلطات السودانية من منح الشركات الصينية أي استثمار
كما طالبت واشنطن بالإشراف على الموانئ والمياه الإقليمية السودانية بذريعة محاربة الإرهاب، وبتعديل المناهج التعليمية السودانية، إضافةً إلى تحويل السودان الى منفى لمن تطرده الإمارات و”إسرائيل” وأميركا
