Sa‘ad al-Ğabrī: Ibn Salmān planned to assassinate King ‘Abd Allah with Russian poison.

In his statements and accusations, mostly against Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān, former Saudi official Sa‘ad al-Ğabrī broke his silence for the first time since his fleeing from the kingdom in 2017 and reveals many facts about Saudi Arabia.

Former Saudi security official Sa‘ad al-Ğabrī said that Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān is “mentally sick, has no mercy and does not learn from the past”.

Al-Ğabrī in an interview with the “60 minutes” program on the American news channel “CBS” explained that he “possesses tape recordings of Muḥammad ibn Salmān, in which he says that he wants to assassinate King ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azīz”. He also said that “Muḥammad ibn Salmān in 2014 talked with Muḥammad ibn Nāyif about the assassination of King ‘Abd Allah with a poison he obtained from Russia and about the attempt to use it within the royal family”.

He added: “Muḥammad ibn Salmān was bragging in front of Ibn Nāyif that he can kill King ‘Abd Allah”, thus pointing out that “Ibn Salmān said to Ibn Nāyif: “I am able to kill King ‘Abd Allah. A simple clap would do it for me. I obtained a poison from Russia”.

Al-Ğabrī claimed that “Ibn Salmān asked him to kidnap Saudi princes which are opposing him residing in Europe”. He added: “But I rejected his wish. Since that time he started to rely in his own men”.

About murder case of Saudi journalist Ğamāl Hāšuqğī al-Ğabrī revealed that “Muḥammad ibn Salmān’s men are criminals. They want to achieve their goals by any means. They don’t care about professionalism”.

In the interview al-Ğabrī accused the Saudi Crown Prince with an assassination plan against him, saying: “I received a warning not to approach any Saudi diplomatic building in Canada, and not to go to the Consulate or the Embassy. When I asked about the reason for that they said: “They sliced up the guy. They killed him. You are [now] at the top of the list”.

 

He continued: “I imagine my assassination coming one day, Muḥammad ibn Salmān fears the informations I possess and he does not rest until he sees me dead”. He added: “I taped a video containing many secrets and informations, and it will be aired in case I face assassination”.

 

Al-Ğabrī demanded help to achieve the release of his two children, ‘Umar and Sāra, saying: “I beg the American people and the American administration to help me save these children and return their lives”.

He unraveled the real sequence of the kidnapping of former Lebanese Prime Minister Sa‘ad al-Ḥarīrī and said: “Muḥammad ibn Salmān invited the Prime Minister of Lebanon Sa‘ad al-Ḥarīrī only to kidnap him at the end”.

As about the aggression against Yemen, he pointed out that “Muḥammad ibn Salmān in his war against Yemen kills thousands of civilians and the [international] organizations, like Human Rights Watch consider these as war crimes”. He added: “This killer committed massacres and crimes”.

Also, al-Ğabrī denied the accusations, which were raised against him about embezzling money from Saudi Arabia, saying: “I served the royal family for a period of three decades. 3 kings and 4 Crown Princes. They were kind with me and very generous. That is the custom of the Saudi Royal House. They care about the people around them”.

On the other hand the Saudi embassy in Washington issued a statement two days ago saying in it: “Former government official al-Ğabrī lost his credibility and has a long history of fabrication and misinformation to hide his financial crimes he committed, and which’s total sum reach up to $1 billion, so to afford a lifestyle he desired for himself and his family”.

The statement added that al-Ğabrī “did not deny his crimes, but in reality he hints that his theft was acceptable at that time. But it was not acceptable, nor was it legal at that time, nor is it now”.

Sa‘ad al-Ğabrī accused the Saudi Crown Prince in a legal case in court in Washington that he sent an “assassination squad” from Saudi Arabia to Canada “in an attempt to murder him” days after the murder of journalist Ğamāl Hāšuqğī “by the hands of the same group”. At the same time the Saudi authorities accuse al-Ğabrī with corruption, and raised an embezzlement case against him in America and in Canada.

Al-Ğabrī fled from Saudi Arabia to Turkey and then to Canada in 2017. He counted as the second top man in the team of former Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Nāyif.

 

 

سعد الجبري: ابن سلمان خطّط لاغتيال الملك عبد الله بِسُمّ روسي

في تصريحات واتهامات تطال في أغلبها ولي العهد السعودي محمد بن سلمان، المسؤول السعودي السابق سعد الجبري يكسر صمته للمرة الأولى منذ فراره من المملكة في العام 2017، ويكشف الكثير من الحقائق المتعلقة بالسعودية

قال المستشار الأمني السعودي السابق، سعد الجبري، إن ولي العهد السعودي محمد بن سلمان “مريض نفسي، وبلا رحمة، ولا يتعلم من الماضي”

 

الجبري، وفي مقابلة مع برنامج “60 دقيقة”، على قناة “CBS” الإخبارية الأميركية، ادعى أنَّه “يمتلك تسجيلين لمحمد بن سلمان يقول فيهما إنه كان يريد اغتيال الملك عبد الله بن عبد العزيز”، وقال إن “محمد بن سلمان تحدّث في العام 2014 مع محمد بن نايف عن اغتيال الملك عبد الله بِسُمٍّ حصل عليه من روسيا، والمحاولة جرى التعامل معها داخل العائلة المالكة”.

وأضاف: “محمد بن سلمان كان يتفاخر أمام ابن نايف بأنه يستطيع قتل الملك عبد الله”، مشيراً إلى أنَّ “ابن سلمان قال لابن نايف: بإمكاني قتل الملك عبد الله. تكفيني مصافحة بسيطة. لقد حصلت على سُمٍ من روسيا”.

 

الجبري ادعى أن “ابن سلمان طلب منه اختطاف أمراء سعوديين معارضين له يتواجدون في أوروبا”، وعلّق: “لكنني رفضت طلبه. ومنذ ذلك الوقت، بدأ يعتمد على رجاله”.

وعن ملف اغتيال الصحافي السعودي جمال خاشقجي، كشف الجبري أنَّ “‏رجال محمد بن سلمان مجرمون، ويريدون تحقيق أهدافهم بأي طريقة، ولا تهمهم الاحترافية”.

وفي المقابلة، اتّهم الجبري ولي العهد السعودي بالتخطيط لاغتياله، قائلاً: “تلقّيت إنذاراً بعدم الاقتراب من أي مبنى دبلوماسي سعودي في كندا، وعدم الذهاب إلى القنصلية أو السفارة، وعندما سألت عن السبب، قالوا: لقد قطّعوا الرجل. لقد قتلوه، وأنت على رأس القائمة”.

وتابع: “أتوقع اغتيالي في يوم من الأيام، محمد بن سلمان يخشى من المعلومات الموجودة لديّ، ولن يهدأ حتى يراني ميتاً”، وأضاف: “سجّلت فيديو يحتوي الكثير من الأسرار والمعلومات، وسيُعرض في حال تعرضت للاغتيال”.

وطالب الجبري بمساعدته في إطلاق سراح ابنيه “عمر وسارة”، قائلاً: ” أناشد الشعب الأميركي والإدارة الأميركية مساعدتي في إنقاذ هؤلاء الأطفال واستعادة حياتهم”.

وتطرّق  إلى واقعة اختطاف رئيس الحكومة اللبناني السابق سعد الحريري، وقال إنَّ “محمد بن سلمان قام بدعوة رئيس حكومة لبنان سعد الحريري ليقوم بعدها باختطافه”. 

وعن العدوان على اليمن، أشار إلى أنّ “محمد بن سلمان في حربه على اليمن يقتل آلاف المدنيين، ومنظمات مثل هيومن رايتس واتش تعتبر ذلك جرائم حرب”، وأضاف: “هذا القاتل ارتكب مجازر وجرائم”.

كذلك، نفى الجبري الاتهامات التي وُجّهت إليه بشأن اختلاس أموال من السعودية، قائلاً: “لقد خدمت العائلة الملكية عن كثب لمدة عقدين. 3 ملوك و4 أولياء عهد. كانوا لطيفين معي وأسخياء جداً. إنها من عادات العائلة الملكية السعودية. هم يعتنون بالأشخاص المتواجدين حولهم”.

في المقابل، أصدرت السفارة السعودية في واشنطن بياناً قبل يومين، قالت فيه “إن الجبري مسؤول حكومي سابق فاقد للمصداقية، وله تاريخ طويل من التلفيق ومحاولات التشتيت، لإخفاء الجرائم المالية التي ارتكبها، والتي تبلغ قيمتها مليارات الدولارات، لتوفير أسلوب حياة مُسرف لنفسه ولأسرته”.

وأضاف البيان أن الجبري “لم ينكر جرائمه، بل هو في الحقيقة يشير إلى أن السرقة كانت مقبولة في ذلك الوقت، لكنها لم تكن مقبولة ولا قانونية في ذلك الوقت، ولا الآن”.

وكان سعد الجبري قد اتهم ولي العهد السعودي، في دعوى قضائية في محكمة في واشنطن، بأنه أرسل “فرقة اغتيال” من السعودية إلى كندا “في محاولة لقتله”، بعد أيام من مقتل الإعلامي جمال خاشقجي “على يد أفراد من المجموعة نفسها”، بينما تتهم السلطات السعودية الجبري بالفساد، وترفع دعاوى اختلاس ضده في أميركا وكندا.

وقد فرّ الجبري من السعودية إلى تركيا ثم إلى كندا في العام 2017، وكان يعدّ الرجل الثاني في فريق ولي العهد السابق الأمير محمد بن نايف.
