Former Minister of Oil Rostem Qāsemī announced his official candidacy on the 13th presidential election in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This comes in a press conference today, on Tuesday, during which Qāsemī expressed his views and program in case he wins in the elections. Which shall take place next June, and answered the questions of the press on this occasion.
Qāsemī confirmed in this announcement that on the economic front he has two programs. The first is to improve the living conditions of the people. The second is to change the politics of the country in the fields of economy and bank reforms.
He added: the government has to possess power in the economic and social fields and by confronting the opposers of change if we wanted to surpass the problems of the country, so we have to adjust the mechanism on production, education, and transparency.
He considered the GDP per capita to be inadequate to the capabilities of the country confirming the necessity to launch activities on the fields of construction of living units to find a balance between the need and the supply. He said: “Building yearly one million accommodation units in the country will be able to provide more working opportunities and economic boom, but we also have to change the banking system”.
He criticized the policies of the government about the stock market, confirming that the revitalization of the stock market can be a help in the boom.
About his program to ease the social problems, he said: “The main reasons behind the social turmoils are the economic matters. If the economic problems are solved then there will be a possibility to solve a significant part of these turmoils”.
Answering the criticism about the participation of military personals in the elections: “The army men can participate in the elections according to the law and there is no need for them to resign from their military role to participate. There are many leaders of countries around the world, who are military people and took over in crises. 31 American presidents were from the military and there is President Putin in Russian, who is a military-security person”.
He added: “I feel proud to be considered as a member of the Revolutionary Guards. After the war, I spent my life in economics, construction, and building the country and it was an honor for me to take part in executing a lot of infrastructural projects in the county.”. He believed that the problems of the country can be solved with an engineering mindset.
About the composition of his government in case he wins the presidency he said: “It is still early to announce the projected composition, but I will announce about that soon, and at least half of them will be from the youth”.

اعلن وزير النفط السابق رستم قاسمي ترشيحه رسميا للانتخابات الرئاسية الـ 13 في الجمهورية الاسلامية الايرانية
جاء ذلك في مؤتمر صحفي اليوم الثلاثاء استعرض خلاله قاسمي وجهات نظره وبرامجه في حال فوزه في الانتخابات التي ستجري خلال حزيران/يونيو القادم واجاب على اسئلة الصحفيين في هذا المجال
واكد قاسمي في تصريحه بان لديه في الجانب الاقتصادي برنامجين ؛ الاول تحسين الظروف المعيشية للشعب والثاني تغيير سياسة البلاد في مجال الاقتصاد والاصلاحات البنكية
واضاف: ان اقتدار الحكومة ضروري في المجالات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية وفي مواجهة معارضي التغيير، ولو اردنا العبور من مشاكل البلاد فعلينا اعداد آلية في مجال الانتاج والتعليم والشفافية.
واعتبر معدل الدخل الفردي بانه لا يتناسب مع امكانيات البلاد، مؤكدا ضرورة تفعيل الانشطة في مجال بناء الوحدات السكنية لايجاد توازن بين العرض والطلب وقال: ان بناء مليون وحدة سكنية في البلاد سنويا يمكنه توفير المزيد من فرص العمل وتحقيق الازدهار الاقتصادي كما ينبغي علينا تغيير النظام البنكي
وانتقد سياسة الحكومة في قطاع البورصة، مؤكدا بان احياء البورصة يمكنه المساعدة في تحقيق الازدهار
وحول برنامجه لمعالجة الآفات الاجتماعية قال: ان السبب الاساس وراء الآفات الاجتماعية هو القضايا الاقتصادية ولو تم حل المشاكل الاقتصادية فبالامكان حل جزء ملحوظ من هذه الآفات
وفي الرد على انتقاد مشاركة العسكريين في الانتخابات قال: ان العسكريين يمكنهم المشاركة في الانتخابات حسب القانون ولا حاجة للاستقالة من الهيكلية العسكرية للترشح للانتخابات. هنالك الكثير من رؤساء دول العالم عسكريون تولوا الرئاسة في الازمات. 31 من الرؤساء الاميركيين كانوا عسكريين وهنالك الرئيس بوتين في روسيا وهو شخص عسكري وامني
واضاف: انني اشعر بالفخر باعتباري عضوا في الحرس الثوري، وبعد الحرب امضيت عمري في مجال الاقتصاد والاعمار والبناء في البلاد وكان لي شرف المشاركة في تنفيذ الكثير من مشاريع البنية التحتية في البلاد. اعتقد بانه بالامكان حل مشاكل البلاد بفكر هندسي
وحول تشكيلة حكومته في حال فوزه بالرئاسة قال: انه من المبكر الان الاعلان عن التشكيلة المرتقبة لكنني ساعلن عنها قريبا وما لا يقل عن نصفهم هم من الشباب
