Receiving a phone call from Putin, Ra’īsī: We understand the Russian military action.

Iranian President Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī expresses “his understanding for the Russian military operation, because the stability undermining actions by the United States and the NATO”.

The Kremlin announced on Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī in order to the discuss the Russian military operation.

The Kremlin said that Putin informed Ra’īsī about the reasons for the Russian Military action and its course saying that “Ra’īsī expressed his understanding for the Russian military action”.

Ra’īsī held “the West responsible for the stability undermining activities by the United States and the NATO”. Thus confirming that “Iran does not believe in resorting to war is a solution”.

Iranian Foreign Minister Ḥosseyn Amīr ‘Abdollahiyān said that “the Ukrainian crisis is rooted in NATO’s provocations. Thus confirming that “Iran does not believe that resorting to war is the solution”.

In a post of his on Twitter he commented the Russian military operation in Ukraine. Amīr ‘Abdollahiyān confirmed that “it is imperative to establish a ceasefire to find a political and democratic solution”.

Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Sa‘īd Haṭībzāde confirmed that Tehran follows the developments in Ukraine with great concern.

Haṭībzāde in a statement today expressed his regrets for the military actions to begin and the deep escalation of the clashes. Thus confirming the deep concern of Tehran for the developments in Ukraine.

It should be remembered that the Iranian embassy in Kiev called its citizens to take any chance in order to leave Ukraine, adding that “in case there would be no chance for that the Iranian citizens can take shelter in the safe places provided by the Ukrainian administration”.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Thursday morning the launch of a military operation in Donbas saying that the confrontation between Russia and the nationalistic forces in Ukraine “is unavoidable”.

On his own behalf the president of Ukraine announced that Russia carried out strikes against the Ukrainian military infrastructure, confirming that martial law was implemented in all areas of Ukraine.

الرئيس الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي يعرب عن “تفهّمه للعملية العسكرية الروسية بسبب الأعمال المزعزعة للاستقرار من جانب الولايات المتحدة وحلف شمال الأطلسي”.

أعلن الكرميلن، اليوم الخميس، أن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين أجرى مكالمة هاتفية بنظيره الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي، من أجل الحديث عن العملية العسكرية الروسية.

وقال الكرملين إن بوتين أَطْلع رئيسي على أسباب العملية العسكرية الروسية وسَيرها، قائلاً إن “رئيسي أعرب عن تفهمه للعملية العسكرية الروسية”.

كما حمّل رئيسي “الغرب المسؤولية بسبب الأعمال المزعزعة للاستقرار من جانب الولايات المتحدة وحلف شمال الأطلسي”.

وقال وزير الخارجية الإيراني، حسين أمير عبد اللهيان، إن “جذور الأزمة الأوكرانية تعود إلى الإجراءات التحريضية لحلف الناتو”، مؤكداً أن “إيران لا تؤمن بأن اللجوء إلى الحرب هو الحل”.

وفي تغريدة له في “تويتر”، تعقيباً على العمليات العسكرية الروسية في أوكرانيا، أكد أمير عبد اللهيان أن “من الضروري وقفَ إطلاق النار وتكثيف الجهود في اتجاه حل سياسي ديمقراطي

وأكد المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الايرانية، سعيد خطيب زاده، أن طهران تتابع بقلق عميق التطورات في أوكرانيا.

وأعرب زاده، في تصريح اليوم، عن أسفه لبدء الأعمال العسكرية وتصاعد حدة الاشتباكات، مؤكداً قلق طهران العميق من التطورات في أوكرانيا.

يُذكَر أن السفارة الإيرانية في كييف دعت رعاياها إلى اغتنام أي فرصة من أجل مغادرة أوكرانيا، مضيفةً أنه “في حال عدم وجود الفرصة في ذلك، يمكن للمواطنين الإيرانيين العثور على مأوى في أماكن آمنة توفرها الإدارة الأوكرانية”.

وكان الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين أعلن، صباح اليوم الخميس، بدء عملية عسكرية في دونباس، قائلاً إنّ المواجهة بين روسيا والقوى القومية في أوكرانيا “لا مفرّ منها”.

من جهته، أعلن الرئيس الأوكراني أنّ روسيا نفّذت ضربة للبنية التحتية العسكرية لأوكرانيا، مؤكداً أنّه تم تطبيق الأحكام العرفية في جميع أنحاء أوكرانيا.
