The American NBC channel revealed that former Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Nāyif sufferers regular beatings by the Saudi authorities and talks about pressure on the administration of Joe Biden to save him.
The American NBC channel revealed that former Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Nāyif suffered dangerous injuries on his legs by systematic beatings.
The channel based on two sources mentioned that Muḥammad ibn Nāyif suffered beatings so much so that he became unable to walk without assistance and said that he was filled with painkillers in result of the formerly suffered beatings.
It said that the administration of American president Joe Biden “faced increasing pressure to help the former Saudi director of intelligence Ibn Nāyif, who is remembered to had saved American lives, and who was detained by the Saudi government during the administration (of former American president) Donald Trump.
The channel also pointed out that “it is unclear whether the Biden administration intervened behind the curtains, but the circumstances of Ibn Nāyif’s detention have recently improved and the members of his family were allowed to see him”.
In June this year an American court enquiry posed questions about the fate of Ibn Nāyif and about the circumstances of his disappearance, or detention. The claim against him was raised because he failed to commit to a contract about a patrol refinery in the Caribbean Sea. Later to this case current Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān was also added, who is still wanted to present clarification about the place of detention of his cousin.
The British “Middle East Eye” said it on October 2020 that a group of British MPs and lawyers opened an investigation about the conditions of two high ranking Saudi princes being imprisoned in the kingdom for 6 months, one of them being Muḥammad ibn Nāyif.
It should be mentioned that the disappearance of Ibn Nāyif is permanent since his detention in March 2020, after his cousin Muḥammad ibn Salmān removed him from his position in 2017.
It was viewed that Ibn Nāyif is the most trusted Saudi ally by the American CIA.
Muḥammad ibn Nāyif worked in the position of Minister of Interior in 2012, before he became Crown Prince three years later.

كشفت شبكة “أن بي سي” الأميركية، تعرّضَ ولي العهد السعودي السابق، محمد بن نايف، لإصابات خطيرة في قدميه جرّاءَ الضرب المبرّح
وذكرت الشبكة، نقلاً عن مصدرَين، أن محمداً بن نايف تعرّض للضرب إلى درجة أنه أصبح غير قادر على المشي من دون مساعدة، وقالت إنّه تمّ حجب مسكّنات الألم عنه نتيجة إصابات سابقة تعرّض لها
وقالت إن إدارة الرئيس الأميركي، جو بايدن، “تتعرّض لضغوط متزايدة من أجل مساعدة رئيس المخابرات السعودي السابق، ابن نايف، والذي يُنسَب إليه الفضل في إنقاذ حياة أميركيين، والذي احتجزته الحكومة السعودية خلال إدارة (الرئيس الأميركي السابق) دونالد ترامب
وأشارت الشبكة أيضاً إلى أنه “من غير الواضح إذا كانت إدارة بايدن تدخّلت وراء الكواليس، لكنّ ظروف اعتقال ابن نايف تحسّنت أخيراً، وسُمح لأفراد الأسرة برؤيته
وفي حزيران/يونيو الماضي، طرحت دعوى قضائية في الولايات المتحدة تساؤلات عن مصير ابن نايف وعن ظروف اختفائه أو احتجازه. وكانت الدعوى مرفوعة ضده بسبب فشله في الوفاء بعقد يخصّ مصفاة بترول في البحر الكاريبي، ثم أُضيف إليها بعد ذلك ولي العهد الحالي محمد بن سلمان، الذي بات مطالباً بتقديم توضيحات بشأن مكان احتجاز ابن عمه
وقال موقع “ميدل إيست آي” البريطاني، في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2020، إنّ مجموعة من النواب والمحامين البريطانيين باشرت تحقيقاً في حالة اثنين من الأمراء السعوديين الرفيعي المستوى، مسجونَين في المملكة منذ 6 أشهر، أحدهما محمد بن نايف
يُذكر أن اختفاء ابن نايف مستمر منذ احتجازه في آذار/مارس 2020، بعد أن عزله ابن عمه محمد بن سلمان من منصبه عام 2017
وكان يُنظر إلى ابن نايف على أنه الحليف السعودي الأكثر ثقة بالنسبة إلى وكالة الاستخبارات المركزية الأميركية
وشغل محمد بن نايف منصب وزير الداخلية في المملكة عام 2012، قبل أن يُصبح ولياً للعهد بعد ذلك بثلاث سنوات
