The Syrian “SANA” news agency reports that an explosion happened while a bus passed by at Ğisr ar-Ra’īs in Damascus. The engineering units dismantled a third explosive device hidden in the area.
The reporter of al-Mayadeen reports on Syrian medical sources that 14 martyrs have befallen and 3 got injured in a dual blast at the same time in Damascus.
A military sources mentioned to “SANA” that “around 6:45 a.m. today while a military carrier bus passed by in the city Damascus close to Ğisr ar-Ra’īs [Presidential Bridge] the bus suffered a targeted terrorist attack by two explosive devices, which had been previously planted on the bus. That led to the death of 14 martyrs and also a number of injuries have happened”.
Syrian Minister of Interior Major General Muḥammad Raḥmūn described the aggression in Damascus as “a coward terrorist one”.
Raḥmūn vowed to account those responsible for the two blasts underlining that Syria will stop uprooting terrorism”.
The Syrian “SANA” news agency reported today, on Wednesday that two explosive devices blew up while a bus passed by at Ğisr ar-Ra’īs in Damascus.
The agency confirmed that martyrs and wounded have fallen in results of the explosion, pointing out that the engineer units have dismantled a third device, which had been planted in the area, where the blast happened targeting a carrier bus.
The reporter of al-Mayadeen explained that the terrorist aggression happened in a living area in the Syrian capital Damascus.
The “Sputnik” news agency reported on a source that “the bus belonged to the military housing department and that it departed from the department’s garage at the gates of al-Mīdān to the al-Mazza 86 neighborhood carrying officials belonging to the department and passing through this area”.
The source revealed that “the first explosive device blew up at 6:30 before the Ğisr ar-Ra’īs in Damascus downtown and after 50 meters the second went off”. It confirmed that “the explosive device was planted within the bus”.
It worths to mention that this explosion is the first of its kind in Damascus since 2018.

وكالة “سانا” السورية تفيد بوقوع انفجار أثناء مرور حافلة عند جسر الرئيس في دمشق، ووحدات الهندسة تفكك عبوة ثالثة كانت مزروعة في المكان.
نقل مراسل الميادين عن مصادر طبية سورية ارتقاء 14 شهيداً و 3 جرحى في التفجيرين المتزامنين في دمشق.
وذكر مصدر عسكري لـوكالة “سانا” أنه “ونحو الساعة السادسة و45 دقيقة من صباح اليوم وأثناء مرور حافلة مبيت عسكري في مدينة دمشق بالقرب من جسر الرئيس، تعرّضت الحافلة لاستهداف إرهابي بعبوتين ناسفتين تمّ لصقهما مسبقاً بالحافلة ما أدى إلى ارتقاء 14 شهيداً وسقوط عدد من الجرحى”.
ووصف وزير الداخلية السوري، اللواء محمد رحمون، الاعتداء في دمشق بـ “الإرهابي الجبان”.
وتعهّد رحمون محاسبة المسؤولين عن التفجيرين، مشدّداً على أن سوريا لن تتوقف عن ملاحقة الإرهاب.
وكانت كالة “سانا” السورية أفادت اليوم الأربعاء بانفجار عبوتين ناسفتين أثناء مرور حافلة عند جسر الرئيس في دمشق.
وأكّدت الوكالة وقوع شهداء وجرحى جرّاء التفجير، مشيرة إلى أنَّ وحدات الهندسة فكّكت عبوة ثالثة كانت مزروعة في المكان الذي وقع فيه التفجير الذي استهدف حافلة المبيت.
مراسل الميادين أوضح أن الاعتداء الإرهابي وقع في منطقة حيوية في العاصمة السورية دمشق..
ونقلت “سبوتنيك” عن مصدر أن “الحافلة تابعة لمؤسسة الإسكان العسكرية، وأنها انطلقت من مرأب المؤسسة في بوابة الميدان إلى حي المزة 86، ونقلت الموظفين التابعين للمؤسسة والقاطنين في تلك المنطقة”.
وكشف المصدر أن “أول عبوة ناسفة انفجرت عند الساعة 6:30 قبل جسر الرئيس وسط دمشق، وبعد 50 متراً انفجرت عبوة ثانية”، وأكّد أن “العبوات الناسفة كانت مزروعة داخل الحافلة”.
الجدير ذكره أن هذا التفجير هو الأول من نوعه في دمشق منذ عام 2018.
