The American “Amentum” company provides professional training to the armed groups in Tripoli within its security strategy in Libya by training 3 armed brigades within the agreement with Prime Minister ‘Abd al-Ḥamīd ad-Dabība, whose term has ended.

The “Africa Intelligence” website wrote in its report that the American “Amentum” company is providing professional training to the armed groups in Tripoli within its security strategy in Libya.
The report says that “members of the Amentum company” of the American military contractors arrived in Libya within the framework of the agreement with Prime Minister ‘Abd al-Ḥamīd ad-Dabība, whose term has ended and this is to provide training to several armed groups in the capital, Tripoli”.
The report points out that the American military contractors “will provide training to the members of 3 armed brigades, specifically the 444th Brigade led by Maḥmūd Ḥamza, the 111th Brigade led by az-Zu‘bī and the 166th Brigade led by al-Ḥiṣān”. Thus according to what was shown in the report.
According to the French website the training efforts will be cooperated between the Amentum and the American State Department “in order to unite these various armed factions and to task them with securing the borders by disarming operations. This work is not conducted under the oversight of the American African Command (AFRICOM)”.
The report points out that “the support of the United States for these Libyan armed groups can prove to be vital for the political life of the besieged Prime Minister ad-Dabība, who is facing calls from many Libyan politicians to step down and give way for a new government. Ad-Dabībw is still usurping power despite his failure to hold elections, as was scheduled to December 2021”.
The report ended saying that this renewed American intervention “in the Libyan security sector comes at a time when Washington is expressing its concerns about the support of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the forces in Eastern Libya, apart from the threat posed by the new military council in Niamey to the American military presence in the neighboring Niger”.
It added: “the experts believe that this is part of the broader American strategy to combat the growing Russian influence over the African continent”. Thus according to what the website stated.

ذكر موقع “Africa Intelligence” في. تقريره أن شركة “Amentum” الأميركية تعمل على إضفاء الطابع المهني على الجماعات المسلحة في طرابلس ضمن استراتيجيتها الأمنية في ليبيا.
ويقول التقرير إن “عناصر من شركة “Amentum” للمقاولات العسكرية الأميركية وصلوا إلى ليبيا بموجب اتفاق مع رئيس. الوزراء المنتهية ولايته، عبد الحميد دبيبة، لتوفير التدريب لعدة مجموعات مسلحة في العاصمة طرابلس”.
ويشير التقرير إلى أن المقاولين العسكريين الأميركيين “سيقومون بتدريب. عناصر من 3 ألوية مسلحة محددة -هي اللواء 444 بقيادة محمود حمزة، واللواء 111 بقيادة الزعبي، واللواء 166 بقيادة. الحصان” وفق ما ورد في التقرير.
وبحسب. الموقع الفرنسي، يتمّ تنسيق جهود التدريب بين “Amentum” ووزارة الخارجية الأميركية، “بهدف توحيد هذه الفصائل. المسلحة المختلفة وتكليفها بتأمين الحدود وبعمليات نزع السلاح. ولا يتم تنفيذ هذا العمل تحت رعاية القيادة الأميركية في أفريقيا (أفريكوم)”.
ويشير التقرير إلى أنه “يمكن أن يوفر دعم الولايات المتحدة لهذه الجماعات المسلحة الليبية شريان. حياة سياسياً لرئيس الوزراء المحاصر الدبيبة، الذي يواجه دعوات من العديد من السياسيين الليبيين للتنحي وإفساح المجال أمام حكومة جديدة. وتشبث الدبيبة بالسلطة على الرغم من فشله في إجراء الانتخابات كما كان مقرراً في ديسمبر 2021”.
ويختم التقرير بأنّ هذا التدخل الأميركي “المتجدد في قطاع الأمن الليبي يأتي. في وقت تعرب فيه واشنطن عن مخاوفها بشأن دعم الرئيس الروسي، فلاديمير بوتين لقوات شرقي ليبيا، فضلاً عن التهديد. الذي يشكله المجلس العسكري الجديد في نيامي على الوجود العسكري الأميركي في النيجر المجاورة”.
ويضيف: “يرى المحللون أن هذا جزء من استراتيجية أميركية أوسع لمواجهة النفوذ الروسي. المتزايد عبر القارة الأفريقية” بحسب ما ذكر الموقع
