The Lebanese artist Julia Boutrus responds to the spokesman of the Army of Occupation and describes his birthday wish to her on social media as “poisonous and dubious”.
The Lebanese artist Julia Boutrus issues an announcement rejecting in it “the poisonous birthdays wish” upon her birthday, which was issued by the spokesman of the Israeli Occupational Army, Avichay Adraee.
Adraee posted on his “Twitter” account a video showing one of the occupational soldiers playing one of the songs of Julia, added with a birthday wish, and said: “for as long as you were the promoter and supporter of terrorism”, according to his description.
Julia via of her office issued a statement, which in it read as “it is not the custom of Mrs. Julia Boutrus to engage in an argument with anyone via the social media, however, the poisonous wish for her birthday, which was delivered today by the spokesman of the Israeli Occupational Army requires the rejection of this dubious wish”.
The statement added “whose profession is the occupation and perpetration of massacres and bloodsheds have not even the slightest gift for music and artistic, or musical taste since he is encoded for killing, terrorism, torture, desecration of the innocent and breaking the human rights entitled to people.
The statement ends saying: “however the enemy tries to show an appearance of holding courtesy and having sensitive feelings, it will not be able to wash away what it committed – and still commits – against the rights of the oppressed and tortured Palestinian people, against the Arab people generally, and especially against the Lebanese people. And the refutable will still be a sin, which some deceitful emotions here and some treacherous wishes there will not wash away”.

أصدرت الفنانة اللبنانية جوليا بطرس بياناً رفضت فيه “المعايدة المسمومة” بعيد ميلادها والتي صدرت عن الناطق باسم جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي أفيخاي أدرعي
وكان أدرعي نشر على صفحته على “تويتر” فيديو يظهر أحد جنود الاحتلال يقوم بعزف إحدى أغنيات جوليا، مرفقة بمعايدة، وقال “لطالما كنتِ نصيرة الإرهاب وداعمته” على حد وصفه
وأصدرت جوليا بياناً باسم مكتبها قال فيه “ليس من عادة السيدة جوليا بطرس الدخول في نقاش مع أحد عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، لكن المعايدة المسمومة بعيد ميلادها التي وصلتها اليوم من الناطق باسم جيش الاحتلال الاسرائيلي تفرض رفض هذه المعايدة المريبة
وأضاف البيان “إن من امتهن الاحتلال وارتكاب الجرائم والمجازر لا يملك الحد الأدنى من الحس الموسيقي وتذوق الفن واللحن لأنه مفطور على القتل والإرهاب والتعذيب والتنكيل بالأبرياء وانتهاك الحقوق المشروعة للشعوب
وختم البيان بالقول “مهما حاول العدو الظهور بمظهر الحمل الوديع وصاحب الإحساس المرهف، لن يتمكن من محو ما ارتكبه – ولا يزال- بحق الشعب الفلسطيني المقهور والمعذب، وبحق الشعوب العربية عموماً والشعب اللبناني خصوصاً، وستبقى ممارساته المدانة وصمة عار لن تمحوها عاطفة كاذبة من هنا وتمنيات مخادعة من هناك
