A statement by the Iranian Security Ministry reveals documents showing the involvement of the separatist “an-Niḍāl Movement” with the Saudi Intelligence Service. The statement points out the responsibility of the movement in the terrorist attacks against the Iranian armed forces in Ahwāz in 2018.
The Iranian Security Ministry published some documents and correspondence it acquired, which point out a direct involvement of the separatist “an-Niḍāl Movement” with the Saudi Intelligence Service.
The Ministry said: “The identity of Farağ Allah Ša‘ab, leader of the an-Niḍāl Movement was identified on 12 November this year and he was apprehended by the efforts of the unidentified soldiers of the Imām az-Zamān [Iranian soldiers]”.
According to the Ministry “the leader of the an-Niḍāl Movement planned a number of great operations in the capital Tehran and in Hūzestān in recent years and was planning new terrorist operations”.
The statement mentions that “the “an-Niḍāl Movement” group receives direct support from the Saudi intelligence and the Zionist entity [Israel]”. Adding that: “Though international warrants were issued against this group, they led terrorist operations in Iran”.
According to the statement, these secret documents included the request of the Saudi Intelligence for “political and military training of the members of this group to commit criminal operations inside Iran, harm the economic interests and undermine the Iranian national security”.
The statement added: “This terrorist gathering also asked for financial support from the Saudi regime to stage protests in front of the Iranian embassies abroad and the national parliaments in a number of European states, and to set up a satellite channel targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran”.
The statement of the Iranian Security Ministry said: “The main responsible for the bloody terror attack, which took place in Ahwāz on 22 September 2018 was apprehended. He gave further details about this group’s other bloody and terrorist attacks”.
The armed terrorist separatist group on 22 September 2018 attacked a parade of the Iranian armed forces held in the occasion of the week of holy defense for the city of Ahwāz. The attack led to the killing of 25 people and the injury of 68 others.

وكانت مجموعة إرهابية انفصالية مسلحة هاجمت في 22 أيلول/سبتمبر 2018 مراسم استعراض للقوات المسلحة الإيرانية بمناسبة أسبوع الدفاع المقدس في مدينة أهواز، وأدّى الهجوم الارهابي إلى مقتل 25 شخصاً وإصابة 68 آخرين
