The Egyptian army announces the martyrdom of one of its soldiers in a fire exchange incident with the “army” of the Israeli Occupation at the border zone area at Rafaḥ. It confirms that the designated authorities opened an investigation into the incident.

On Monday the Egyptian army confirmed that one of its soldiers got martyred after a firefight that took place with the “army” of the Israeli Occupation at the border zone at Rafaḥ.
The official spokesman of the Egyptian army said that the armed forces are holding an investigation by the help of the designated authorities about the fire exchange incident at the border zone area at Rafaḥ, a matter that led to the martyrdom of one of the troops tasked with securing it.
Earlier on Monday the Israeli “13th” channel reported that a “very exceptional” incident took place between the Israeli “army” and the Egyptian army at the border area at the Rafaḥ border crossing, adding that the “incident came peak of a turmoil with Egypt , which might have important repercussions”.
On its behalf the Israeli “14th” channel said that Egyptian soldiers opened fire by themselves on the Israeli soldiers inside the Rafaḥ border crossing.
The Israeli media reported that the forces of the Israeli “army” responded to the firing, as thus two Egyptian soldiers got martyred in the clash.
Also the correspondent of al-Mayadeen reported an agreement to form an investigation committee about the incident that had taken place between the Egyptian army and the Israeli “army” at the Rafaḥ border crossing.

It is to be remembered that the incident came after a dispute between Egypt and the Israeli Entity following the latest and ongoing Israeli ambush at Rafaḥ in the south of the Gaza Strip, but also after an Israeli businessman man got killed in the Egyptian city of Alexandria in the beginning of May.
It ear revealed that the side that calls itself the “Liberation Vanguard – Martyr Muḥammad Ṣalāḥ Group” “killed the criminal Israeli agent Ziv Kayfar”, as it was revealed in a statement published on social media.
It is important to note that Muḥammad Ṣalāḥ the group took its name after was a 23 years old Egyptian conscript who got martyred after he had killed 3 Israeli soldiers with bullets and had injured a fourth one on 3 June 2023, while he was fulfilling his military service at the Egyptian region of Sinai.

أكّد الجيش المصري، اليوم الاثنين، استشهاد أحد جنوده بعد إطلاق نار وقع مع “جيش” الاحتلال. الإسرائيلي، في منطقة الشريط الحدودي مع رفح.
وقال المتحدث العسكري باسم الجيش المصري إنّ القوات المسلحة تُجري تحقيقاً، بواسطة الجهات. المتخصصة، بشأن حادث إطلاق النيران في منطقة الشريط الحدودي في رفح، الأمر الذي أدى إلى استشهاد أحد العناصر المكلفة تأمينه.
وفي وقتٍ سابق اليوم، أفادت القناة الـ”13″ الإسرائيلية بوقوع حادث “استثنائي جداً” بين “الجيش” الإسرائيلي. والجيش المصري، عند الحدود في منطقة معبر رفح، مضيفةً أن “الحادث يأتي في. ذروة التوتر مع مصر، وقد تكون له عواقب سياسية مهمة”.
من جهتها، قالت القناة الـ”14″ الإسرائيلية إن جنوداً مصريين أطلقوا النار، من تلقاء. أنفسهم، على جنود إسرائيليين داخل معبر رفح.
وأفادت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية بأن قوات “الجيش” الإسرائيلي ردّت بإطلاق. النار، فاستُشهد جنديان مصريان في الاشتباك.
كذلك، نقل مراسل الميادين أنّ اتفاقاً تمّ على تشكيل لجنة تحقيق في الحادثة، التي وقعت. بين الجيش المصري و”الجيش” الإسرائيلي في معبر رفح
يُذكر أنّ الحادث يأتي بعد توتر بين مصر وكيان الاحتلال، في أعقاب التوغل. الإسرائيلي الأخير والمستمر في رفح، جنوبي قطاع غزة، وبعد مقتل رجل أعمال إسرائيلي في مدينة الإسكندرية المصرية، مطلع أيّار/مايو الجاري.
وتبنّت جهة أطلقت على نفسها “طلائع التحرير – مجموعة الشهيد محمد صلاح -“، “قتل العميل. الإسرائيلي المجرم زيف كيفر”، كما ورد في بيانٍ نشرته في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
