Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi confirms that the war cannot solve the Iranian nuclear matter, pointing out that this solution put aside the key question of the Middle East, which is the Palestinian question.

During a joint press conference with his French counterpart Jean Noel Barro on Friday Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi confirmed that his country respects the rights of Iran for the peaceful use of nuclear power.
Wang confirmed that “the war cannot solve the Iranian nuclear case”, pointing out that “the latest military confrontation between Israel and Iran must not recur again”.
The Chinese minister believed that “the preemptive strikes lack legality”, adding that “the bombardment the United States had carried out against the nuclear facilities of a sovereign country represent a bad precedent”, describing them as “despicable”.
In his speech the minister addressed the Palestinian question, as he said that the true solution of the Iranian nuclear case cannot sideline this, considering it “the key matter of the Middle East”.
He continued: “the two-state solution is the only realistic way to come out of the chaos in the Middle East”, calling upon the international community to take “more practical and active steps to achieve this goal”.
Wang closed his speech by expressing the readiness of Beijing to “work with France and take continued efforts strengthening the peace”.
China was one of the first states that condemned the Israeli aggression against Iran, as on 5 July it expressed its opposition to any violation of the sovereignty of Iran, or its security and territorial integrity.

قال وزير الخارجية الصيني وانغ يي، خلال مؤتمر صحافي مع نظيره الفرنسي جان نويل. بارو، أمس الجمعة، إن بلاده تحترم حق إيران في الاستخدام السلمي للطاقة النووية.
وأكّد وانغ أن “الحرب لا يمكنها حل القضية النووية الإيرانية”، مشدّداً على أن “الصراع. العسكري الأخير، بين إسرائيل وإيران، ينبغي ألّا يتكرّر مرة أخرى”.
الوزير الصيني اعتبر أن “الضربات الاستباقية تفتقر إلى الشرعية”، مضيفاً أن “القصف. الذي قامت به الولايات المتحدة لمنشآت نووية، تابعة لدولة ذات سيادة، شكل سابقة سيئة”، واصفاً إياه بـ “الوقح”.
وتطرّق الوزير في حديثه إلى القضية الفلسطينية، حيث قال إن الحل الحقيقي للقضية. النووية الإيرانية لا يمكن أن يتجنبها، باعتبارها “جوهر قضية الشرق الأوسط”.
وتابع: “إن حل الدولتين هو السبيل الواقعي الوحيد للخروج من الفوضى في الشرق. الأوسط”، داعياً المجتمع الدولي إلى اتخاذ إجراءات “أكثر عملية، وفعالية، لتحقيق هذه الغاية”.
وانغ ختم بإبداء استعداد بكين “للعمل مع فرنسا، لبذل. جهود متواصلة، في تعزيز السلام”.
