An American official tells that Iran managed to study the patterns of the American fighter jets which enabled it to defend against them effectively, while it also exploited the ceasefire period to extract missiles and launch platforms from positions that had been bombed during the war against the country.

An American military official talking to the New York Times newspaper supposed that Iran had managed to the study the patters of the American fighters and bombers, which enabled it to effectively defend against them. It also exploited that ceasefire period to extract missiles and launch platforms from positions that had been bombed.

The tactics of the American planes have become predictable

The American military official said that the Iranian leadership with possible Russian help studied the patterns of the American fighters and bombers.

According to the “New York Times” the official warned about the F-15 that was shut down last month and the ground fire that targeted the F-35, revealing that the tactics of the American planes have become largely predictable, which enabled Iran to defend against them with on a large scale.

As for the missiles capabilities of Tehran the American official said that Iran exploited the ceasefire to excavate dozens of ballistic missiles sites that had suffered bombardment to transport portable missile launch platforms and despite the huge losses it has adopted its tactics expecting any resurgence of the attacks.

The official explained that a number of the Iranian ballistic missiles were launched from deep underground caves that had been built inside the granite mountains, which makes it difficult for the American attack planes to destroy them.

In result the United States primarily bombarded the entices of these these positions, which led to them being collapsed and burying them without fully destroying them. Iran now, according to what the New York Times quoted from the American military officials, extracted a number of these positions.

رجح مسؤول عسكري أميركي في حديث لصحيفة “نيويورك تايمز” أن تكون إيران قد تمكنت من دراسة أنماط طيران المقاتلات والقاذفات الأميركية ما مكنها من الدفاع في وجهها بشكل فعال، كما استغلت فترة الهدنة لاستخراج صواريخ ومنصات من مواقع قُصفت خلال الحرب على البلاد.

وقال المسؤول العسكري الأميركي، إن قادة إيرانيين، ربما بمساعدة روسية، درسوا أنماط طيران الطائرات المقاتلة والقاذفات الأميركية

وحذر المسؤول، وفقاً لـ”نيويورك تايمز” من أن إسقاط طائرة “أف-15إي” الشهر الماضي، والنيران الأرضية التي استهدفت طائرة “أف-35″، كشفا أن تكتيكات الطيران الأميركية أصبحت قابلة للتنبؤ بشكل كبير، ما مكّن إيران من الدفاع ضدها بكفاءة أكبر

إيران استغلت الهدنة لنقل منصات إطلاق الصواريخ المتنقلة من مواقع تعرضت للقصف

أمّا بالنسبة لقدرات طهران الصاروخية، فقد قال المسؤول الأميركي إن إيران استغلت وقف إطلاق النار لإزالة العشرات من مواقع الصواريخ الباليستية التي تعرضت للقصف، ونقل منصات إطلاق الصواريخ المتنقلة، وعلى الرغم من الخسائر الكبيرة، فقد عدلت تكتيكاتها تحسباً لأي استئناف للهجمات.

وأوضح المسؤول أن العديد من الصواريخ الباليستية الإيرانية أُطلق من كهوف تحت الأرض عميقة ومنشآت أخرى منحوتة في جبال الغرانيت، يصعب على الطائرات الهجومية الأميركية تدميرها

ونتيجة لذلك، قصفت الولايات المتحدة مداخل هذه المواقع بشكل رئيسي، ما أدى إلى انهيارها ودفنها، من دون تدميرها بالكامل. وقد قامت إيران الآن باستخراج عدد كبير من هذه المواقع، بحسب ما نقلت “نيويورك تايمز” عن المسؤول العسكري الأميركي.

الحرب خلّفت خصماً أكثر صلابةً وصموداً

وعن مدى تأثر طهران بالحرب، قال المسؤول إنه “على الرغم من أن خمسة أسابيع من القصف المكثف قد أسفرت عن مقتل العديد من القادة والزعماء الإيرانيين، إلا أن الحرب خلّفت خصماً أكثر صلابةً وصموداً”.

وأضاف المسؤول أن الإيرانيين أعادوا نشر الكثير من أسلحتهم المتبقية، وغرسوا في نفوسهم اعتقاداً بأن إيران قادرة على مقاومة الولايات المتحدة بنجاح، سواء من خلال إغلاق مضيق هرمز بشكل فعّال، أم من خلال مهاجمة البنية التحتية للطاقة في دول الخليج المجاورة، أم تهديد الطائرات الأميركية
