Amidst vows of revenge to “Israel”, Iran mourns its martyr Commander Raẓī Mūsavī.

Martyr Brigadier General Raẓī Mūsavī arrives at his final resting place at the Imam Ṣāliḥ ibn Mūsā al-Kāẓim Mausoleum in the north of the Iranian capital Tehran, where the mourning is held.

The body of the martyr arrived at its final resting place amidst massive popular participation airing slogans of “Death to America, death to Israel”. According to the correspondent of al-Mayadeen in Tehran, these were echoed by the participants of the mourning.

The mourning was participated by various personalities from the Arab and Muslim nations and from the Iranian provinces, while an atmosphere of grief and anger was surrounding the mausoleum, as it was broadcasted by the correspondent.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī led the prayer for the body of Martyr Commander Mūsavī, who lost his life in an Israeli aggression against the Syrian capital Damascus on Monday.

Since the early hours of Thursday morning, the Iranians were heading to the Imam al-Ḥussayn Square in downtown Tehran to take part in the mourning of the martyr, before his body was carried to the Imam Ṣāliḥ ibn Mūsā al-Kāẓim Mausoleum in the north of the capital.

During the mourning ceremony, Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Major General Ḥossayn Salāmī confirmed that Martyr Mūsavī “was an essential supporter of the resistance in the region, as we see his efforts in Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine”.

Salāmī added that “Martyr Raẓī Mūsavī spent his life in the struggle and sacrifices and was a companion of Martyr warrior Qāsem Soleymānī”, undermining that “the losing enemy in peril is the result of his efforts”.

He reiterated saying that Tehran’s revenge for the crime of assassinating the martyr would be “serious and severe and will only come by the end of the Israeli Entity”. He underlined that “the targeting and the martyrdom of our people and our nation will not be left in silence”.

In the same context, Advisor to the Commander of the Jerusalem Brigades at the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Brigadier General Īrāğ Masğidī in a statement at the mourning of Martyr Mūsavī said that “the Iranian response to the assassination of Martyr Mūsavī will come by the continuation of the support and protection for the front of resistance and the devoted continuation on this path”.

He added that “the popular participation in the mourning of the martyr today reflects the gratitude for his efforts and for his struggle on the one hand, but also the confirmation that many stand on the side of the resistance against the Zionist Entity and the continuation of the struggle without any halt protecting the resistance”.

The martyrdom of leading military commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards as-Sayyid Raẓī Mūsavī had happened a few days ago during an Israeli aggression targeting an area surrounding the as-Sayyida Zaynab neighborhood in the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus.

Martyr Mūsavī was one of the most prominent and biggest leaders of the Jerusalem Brigades of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and one of the commanders tasked with the Syrian mission. He had faced a number of assassination attempts by the Israeli Occupation during the last few years.

The martyr had participated in all phases of the support for Syria during the war waged against it, as he had also participated in the battles in the Syrian desert and around Damascus. He was one of the members stopping the attacks on Western Aleppo.

وصل جثمان الشهيد العميد رضي موسوي إلى مقام السيد صالح بن موسى الكاظم، شمالي العاصمة الإيرانية طهران، حيث سيوارى الثرى.

ووصل جثمان الشهيد إلى مثواه الأخير وسط مشاركة شعبية كبيرة، وعلى وقع هتافات “الموت لأميركا، الموت لإسرائيل”، التي ردّدها المشاركون في التشييع، بحسب ما أفادت مراسلة الميادين في طهران.

وحضرت التشييع شخصيات من مختلف الدول العربية والإسلامية والمحافظات الإيرانية، فيما عمّت حالة من الحزن والغضب أرجاء المقام، كما نقلت مراسلتنا.

وأمّ قائد الثورة والجمهورية الإسلامية في طهران،السيد علي خامنئي، الصلاة على جثمان الشهيد موسوي، الذي ارتقى من جراء عدوان إسرائيلي على العاصمة السورية دمشق، الاثنين الماضي

ومنذ ساعات الصباح، توافد الإيرانيون إلى ساحة الإمام الحسين، وسط طهران، من أجل حضور مراسم تشييع الشهيد، قبل أن يُنقل جثمانه إلى مقام السيد صالح بن موسى الكاظم، شمالي العاصمة

وخلال مراسم التشييع، أكد قائد حرس الثورة في إيران، اللواء حسين سلامي، أنّ الشهيد موسوي “كان الدعامة الأساسية للمقاومة في المنطقة، بحيث نرى جهوده اليوم في سوريا ولبنان وفلسطين”. 

وأضاف سلامي، أنّ “الشهيد رضي قضى عمره في الجهاد والتضحيات، وكان رفيقاً للمجاهد الشهيد قاسم سليماني”، مشدداً على أنّ “العدو اليائس المهزوم هو نتيجة جهاده”. 

وجدّد تأكيد أنّ انتقام طهران على جريمة اغتيال الشهيد سيكون “جدياً وشديداً، ولن يكون غير إنهاء الكيان الإسرائيلي”، مشدداً على “عدم الصمت على استهداف واستشهاد أبناء وطننا”. 

وفي السياق، قال مستشار قائد فيلق القدس في حرس الثورة العميد إيرج مسجدي في تصريح على هامش مراسم تشييع الشهيد موسوي
إنّ “الرد الايراني على اغتيال الشهيد موسوي سيكون باستمرار دعم وحماية جبهة المقاومة ومواصلة هذا الطريق بحسم”.

وأضاف أنّ “المشاركة الشعبية في تشييع الشهيد اليوم تعكس تقدير تضحياته وجهاده من جهة والتأكيد على الوقوف إلى جانب المقاومة ضد الكيان الصهيوني ومواصلة النضال دون أي تراجع عن حماية المقاومة”.
