With the continuation of the aggression against Gaza and the unlimited American support for the Israeli Occupation, an attack targeting the American forces in the “ ‘Ayn al-Asad” base in al-Anbār in Western Iraq causes casualties.

The official spokesman of the Pentagon announced the injury of American soldiers in a missile attack suffered by the ‘Ayn al-Asad airbase in Iraq, pointing out that the medical condition of two of them are still unknown.
Earlier on Monday sources of al-Mayadeen reported that 3 explosions were heard in the ‘Ayn al-Asad base in al-Anbār in Western Iraq “in result of a missile and drone bombardment”.
According to “the security dispatch” the targeted attack against the ‘Ayn al-Asad airbase took place by two missiles and a drone at 21:00 local time.
In the same context an American military official told al-Mayadeen that his country “became aware of reports regarding explosions happening close to the ‘Ayn al-Asad base”, adding that he “has currently no further information”.
This attack came after an American aggression against Ğarf aṣ-Ṣahr that had led to martyrs and wounded in the ranks of the Popular Mobilization.
The American troops at the ‘Ayn al-Asad base had suffered a targeted attack on 17 July by a suicide drone targeting a trade post and an oil depot within the American military wing.
This all comes at a time the Israeli Occupation with American support has been continuing its aggression against the Gaza Strip for 10 months, which has left tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded behind.
The United States and Iraq had in January conducted talks about “ending the International Military Coalition that is led by the United States in Iraq and the way transfer this into bilateral relations”.
The negotiations about the future of the American military presence is more precarious amidst the insistence of Washington to support the Israeli aggression against Gaza and amidst the increasing general calls by the Iraqi government to the United States to withdraw its forces from the country.

أعلن متحدث باسم البنتاغون عن إصابة جنود أميركيين في هجوم صاروخي تعرضت له قاعدة “عين الأسد” الجوية. في العراق، مشيراً إلى أنّ حالتهم الصحية لا تزال غير معروفة.
وفي وقت سابق الإثنين، أفادت مصادر الميادين، بدوي 3 انفجارات في قاعدة “عين الأسد” في الأنبار، غربي. العراق، “ناتجة من قصف صاروخي وطيران مسّير”.وبحسب “البرقية الأمنية”، جرى استهداف قاعدة. عين الأسد بصاروخين وطائرة مسيّرة، عند الساعة الـ21:00 بالتوقيت المحلي.
وفي السياق، قال مسؤول عسكري أميركي للميادين إنّ بلاده “أخذت علماً بالتقارير بشأن وقوع انفجارات قرب. قاعدة عين الأسد”، مضيفاً أنّه “ليس لديه أي معلومات إضافية حالياً”.
ويأتي هذا الهجوم بعد عدوان أميركي على جرف الصخر، أدّى إلى ارتقاء شهداء وجرحى من الحشد الشعبي.
وكانت القوات الأميركية في قاعدة “عين الأسد” تعرّضت لاستهدافٍ في السابع عشر من تموز/يوليو الفائت بطائرات. مسيرة انقصاضية، استهدفت مركزاً تجارياً ومحطة وقود، داخل الجناح العسكري الأميركي.
يأتي ذلك في الوقت الذي يواصل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، بدعم أميركي، عدوانه على قطاع غزة منذ نحو 10 أشهر، الأمر. الذي خلّف عشرات الآلاف من الشهداء والجرحى.
وكانت الولايات المتحدة والعراق شرعا، في كانون الثاني/يناير، في محادثاتٍ بشأن “إنهاء التحالف العسكري الدولي الذي. تقوده الولايات المتحدة في العراق وكيفية إبداله بعلاقاتٍ ثُنائية”.
وأصبحت المحادثات بشأن مستقبل الوجود العسكري الأميركي الآن أكثر إلحاحاً وسط إصرار واشنطن على دعم العدوان. الإسرائيلي على غزّة، ووسط الدعوات العامة المتزايدة من الحكومة العراقية للولايات المتحدة إلى سحب قواتها من البلاد
