A delegation comprising Speaker of the Parliament Muḥammad al-Ḥalabūsī, President of the Iraqi Kurdistan region Ničervan Barazānī and president of the Sovereignty Coalition aš-Šayh Hamīs al-Hanğar arrive in al-Ḥanāna in an-Nağaf to meet with the leader of the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr.
Today, on Monday the office of Speaker of the Parliament Muḥammad al-Ḥalabūsī,announced that a meeting has ended with the leader of the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr in the al-Ḥanāna area in an-Nağaf
The office said on its statement broadcasted by the Iraqi WA‘ news agency that “the meeting that was held between Speaker of the Parliament Muḥammad al-Ḥalabūsī, President of the Iraqi Kurdistan region Ničervan Barazānī, president of the Sovereignty Coalition aš-Šayh Hamīs al-Hanğar and the leader of the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr has ended a little while ago in the in the al-Ḥanāna area in an-Nağaf.
Leader of the Democratic Kurdistan Party Mas‘ūd Barazānī announced an initiative to end the political crisis in Iraq saying: “in order to solve the problems and to provide an appropriate and good ground for the political process in Iraq I proposed a political initiative”.
He added: “within the framework of this initiative I propose to Ničervan Barazānī and Muḥammad al-Ḥalabūsī to visit Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr and discuss with him the ways of the political process and how to dismantle the obstacles and the problems”.
He also elaborated saying: “I hope that this initiative yields good results and to begin the interest of
Iraq and all its components”, without any further details.
It is my sincere hope that the meeting between @Mu_AlSadr, @IKRPresident and @AlHaLboosii will produce positive results and pave the way towards resolving the current problems facing the political process in Iraq.

The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament and the President of the Iraqi Kurdistan region arrived in the province of an-Nağaf in order to study the ways of forming a government.
The correspondent of the Iraqi WA‘ News Agency said that: “a delegation comprising Speaker of the Parliament Muḥammad al-Ḥalabūsī, President of the Iraqi Kurdistan region Ničervan Barazānī and president of the Sovereignty Coalition aš-Šayh Hamīs al-Hanğar arrived in the province of an-Nağaf via its international airport”, adding that” the delectation will head to meet to meet with as-Sayyid Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr in al-Ḥanāna“.
The “Aṣ-Ṣadr Block” won the elections held on 10 October last year receiving 73 seats, which is followed by the “at-Taqaddum [Development] Alliance with 37 seats, the “State of Law” Coalition with 33 and the “Democratic Kurdistan” Party with 31 seats.

وفد يضم رئيس مجلس النواب محمد الحلبوسي ورئيس إقليم كردستان العراق نيجيرفان بارزاني ورئيس تحالف السيادة الشيخ خميس الخنجر، يصل إلى الحنانة في النجف للقاء زعيم التيار الصدري مقتدى الصدر
أعلن مكتب رئيس البرلمان العراقي محمد الحلبوسي، اليوم الإثنين، عن انتهاء الاجتماع مع زعيم التيار الصدري مقتدى الصدر في منطقة الحنانة بالنجف.
وقال المكتب في بيان تلقته وكالة الأنباء العراقية (واع)، أنَّ “الاجتماع الذي عقد اليوم بين رئيس مجلس النواب محمد الحلبوسي ورئيس إقليم كردستان نيجرفان بارزاني ورئيس تحالف السيادة خميس الخنجر مع زعيم التيار الصدري السيد مقتدى الصدر انتهى قبل قليل في منطقة الحنَّانة بالنجف الأشرف”.
وأعلن زعيم الحزب “الديمقراطي الكردستاني” مسعود بارزاني، عن مبادرة لإنهاء الأزمة السياسية في العراق، قائلاً: “من أجل حل المشاكل وتوفير بيئة مناسبة وجيدة للعملية السياسية في العراق، طرحت مبادرة سياسية”.
وأضاف: “في سياق هذه المبادرة، أقترح أن يقوم نيجيرفان بارزاني ومحمد الحلبوسي بزيارة مقتدى الصدر والتشاور حول كيفية مواصلة العملية السياسية وإزالة العقبات والمشاكل”.
كما أردف قائلاً: “آمل أن تكون لهذه المبادرة نتائج إيجابية، وتكون في مصلحة العراق وجميع مكوناته”، دون تفاصيل أكثر
ووصل رئيس مجلس النواب العراقي ورئيس إقليم كردستان إلى محافظة النجف للقاء زعيم التيار الصدري العراقي مقتدى الصدر من أجل بحث تشكيل الحكومة.
وقال مراسل وكالة الأنباء العراقية (واع)، إنَّ “وفد يضم رئيس مجلس النواب محمد الحلبوسي ورئيس إقليم كردستان نيجرفان بارزاني ورئيس تحالف السيادة خميس الخنجر، وصل إلى محافظة النجف عبر مطارها الدولي”. مضيفاً أنَّ “الوفد سيتوجه للقاء السيد مقتدى الصدر في الحنَّانة”.
وتصدرت “الكتلة الصدرية” الانتخابات التي أجريت في 10 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر الماضي، بـ 73 مقعداً، تلاها تحالف “تقدم” 37، وائتلاف “دولة القانون” 33، ثم الحزب “الديمقراطي الكردستاني” 31.
