The Israeli media reported on Sudanese sources that meeting is crucial about the normalization between Sudan and “Israel”.
It pointed out that the announcement about the normalization might take place within few days if Washington accepts the three demands of Khartoum, which are to obtain grain and oil in the value of $1.2 billion, immediately granting $2 billion, and vowing to provide economy help in the next three years.
It should be remembered that yesterday a report in the “Foreign Policy” magazine has confirmed that American State Secretary Mike Pompeo increases the pressure to take Sudan’s name off from the list of countries supporting terror before the upcoming November.
According to “Foreign Policy” there is increasing support within the Congress and amongst the decision-makers to take Sudan’s name off from the American list of terror, and about the necessity to close the matter and give the necessary support needed for the successful transition of power to a civilian one in the country.
The report also made it clear that within months American legislators and diplomats have engaged in some very intense negotiations behind the scenes with the fragile civilian-led government in Sudan to take off the name of this country from the American list of terrorism supporting countries.

ولفتت إلى أن الإعلان عن التطبيع قد يصدر خلال أيام إذا وافقت واشنطن على مطالب الخرطوم الثلاثة وهي الحصول على القمح والنفط بقيمة مليار ومئتي مليون دولار وعلى منحة فورية بقيمة ملياري دولار والالتزام بتقديم مساعدة اقتصادية في السنوات الثلاث المقبلة
يذكر أن يوم أمس، أكّد تقرير نشرته مجلة “فورين بوليسي” أن وزير الخارجية الأميركي مايك بومبيو يكثف الضغوط من أجل ضمان شطب اسم السودان من قائمة الدول الراعية للإرهاب قبل تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر المقبل
ووفقاً لـ “فورين بوليسي” فإن هنالك دعماً متزايداً داخل الكونغرس ودوائر القرار الأميركية لاتجاه شطب السودان من قوائم الإرهاب الأميركية وضرورة طي الملف وتقديم الدعم اللازم لإنجاح التحوّل المدني في البلاد
كما أوضح التقرير أنه، وعلى مدار أشهر، انخرط المشرعون والدبلوماسيون الأميركيون في مفاوضات شاقة من وراء الكواليس مع حكومة هشة بقيادة مدنية في السودان لإزالة اسم ذلك البلد من القائمة الأميركية للدول الراعية للإرهاب
